Michael, appreciate you joining us today. Are you happy as a creative professional? Do you sometimes wonder what it would be like to work for someone else?

I have had my times with playing professional sports and then being released and going back home to work. Of course I want to play the game of football for a very long time, so when I get sent back home to go work it just motivates me to remain humble and to keep working because the man upstairs is creating a plan for me. I try to keep a positive mindset while playing the game because at any time anyone could get released and you would have to go back to your daily day base, of working a 9-5. When I think of a question like this it motivates me because I truly do not want to go back to work when I know I can make more money while playing a game of football.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

B1collection.com : A clothing brand that was started at the beginning of this year that will help me show the community that I am more than football. B1 stands for Believe 1st! Very simple but deep meaning. After every shirt that is made I put “Everything Happens For A Reason”. Another simple quote but with a deep meaning. This brand is giving an audience to those that need motivation in their daily day life! From having a long day at work, at the gym, in the classroom, etc The brand is here to always let you know that everything happens for a reason and a blessing is on the way.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

Being released from my first pro team and started my own clothing line, trucking business, and being a landlord for three apartment units.
