We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Mher (Max) Khachatryan a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Mher (Max) , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

I always wanted to share what I like to do, and always been sure of there are many people who like to create but need some help to reach their goals. With the dream in mind, and not much savings I decided to open Cre8sArt School in Fort Lee NJ, www.cre8sart.com.

Mher (Max) , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Cre8sArt teaches students to do what they love and they will Love what they do. We focus on subjects which have meaning for the student, whether it’s portrait, landscape, still life drawing, painting, sculpting etc. Working with each student, empowering them to find the key to creative success. We believe in not forcing the rules, but guiding to find the genius within.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

The mission was, is and always will be to find your authentic self, to believe in the voice within and march to it. Like Dr. Wayne Dyer said “Don’t die with your music still in you” Whatever that maybe, you should follow it, because that is who you are, and nobody can change that, no one can tall you what the right way to live or do,
because they are not you, their statement maybe true for themselves, but Not You.
Or like Henry David Thoreau said,
“If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours”.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

We always say I wish I new it before, but I think we know something when it’s time, not sooner or later. Events happen by appointment, not by a chance, when we are ready, they will be there.
