In order to improve the quality of education and create a positive learning environment, some changes need to be made. Firstly, we should consider replacing computers and MacBooks with book paper and one-on-one learning. Many students may not focus on their homework due to unsupervised internet access. Secondly, it is crucial to hire teachers who are dedicated to their profession and the students they teach. During the pandemic, many students fell behind academically, and this trend needs to be reversed. We need teachers who genuinely care about their students’ learning and are passionate about their profession.
Moreover, we should address the issue of bullying in schools. It can be harmful and distracting to students, making it difficult for them to focus on their studies. Therefore, it is essential to create awareness among students about the negative impacts of bullying and how to stop it. Additionally, a course in high school that promotes “becoming a young adult” should be introduced, emphasizing the importance of not giving up, seeking help, and speaking up against bullying. it is essential to create a positive environment for students to learn and grow. By taking these steps, we can ensure that students receive the quality education they deserve and that they can become productive members of society.

Hi there! My name is Mesha Lewis and I’m a 25-year-old home baker and private chef. I own a small business called Sunflowers Kitchen & Love, which I’ve been running for three years now. I’m completely self-taught in everything I do, and I’ve built up a wonderful client base in my community and neighboring towns. I started cooking as a hobby, watching cooking shows and trying out different recipes until I found my passion. Now, I specialize in cookies, small cakes, cheesecakes, brownies, and more.
I believe in treating people the way I want to be treated, especially when it comes to food service. I work with my customers’ schedules and communicate with them every step of the way to ensure a positive experience. What sets me apart is that I cook with love and strive to be unique in everything I do. I’m proud of where I am today and can’t wait to see where my journey takes me. How’d you meet your business partner?
In the business world, it is essential to have a support system, and finding someone who shares your passion and drive can be life-changing. A “business sister” like Quamesha can make all the difference. Despite knowing each other previously, she approached me 2 years ago with an interest in baking, and I welcomed her with open arms. Since then, we have built a formidable partnership with another exceptional woman, Whitney. Together, we have established a successful pop-up shop that has left our customers raving and eager for more, which is a testament to our newcomer clientele since Whitney is new to the area. Witnessing black women support one another in their entrepreneurial pursuits is inspiring, and our story is a testament to the power of collaboration and sisterhood. We hope to continue thriving and inspiring others in our business ventures.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
In my experience, the best way to attract clients is through social media and word of mouth. I live in a decent-sized town, and it seems like news travels fast here. Within months, people started to recognize me and approach me at Walmart after seeing my food on Facebook or hearing about it from their friends. Since I make treats and food, many of my friends’ kids love to shop with me, which has helped spread the word even more.
