When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, it had a profound impact on the beauty industry, forcing us to adapt to new regulations and find ways to sustain our income. Many of my clients, seeking alternatives to in-person services, started expressing their interest in purchasing the products I used on them or those they saw and wanted to try. Initially, it was not something that interested me, but the circumstances surrounding the pandemic changed my perspective.

To meet the evolving demands of my clients, I embarked on a venture to create customized beauty boxes tailored to their specific needs. Through my website, clients could access a questionnaire, which helped me gather pertinent information about their preferences and requirements. Armed with this knowledge, I undertook meticulous research to curate the perfect beauty boxes for each individual.

I offered two sizes of beauty boxes for sale: a drugstore option and a high-end alternative. Clients could even mix products from both categories, allowing them to build their own kit or explore a variety of different beauty items. Surprisingly, this experiment proved to be highly successful, helping me support my business amidst the challenging circumstances imposed by the pandemic.

While I eventually had to put this project on hold due to other commitments and relocating, I am now considering resurrecting it. The positive response I received initially has encouraged me to believe that it has the potential to thrive again. As I reflect on the past and potential future, I am convinced that reintroducing these curated beauty boxes could be a valuable addition to my business offerings.
