Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to MENEZ. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

MENEZ, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

From a young age we were interested into how clothing and things were made. Growing up around our grandmother, who was a seamstress and designer allowed us to see the process from beginning to end. In college Vince studied graphic design and Saul had a passion for industrial design, we decided to combine our work together to create MENEZ. Where we can push the boundaries of design, we wanted to make pieces of clothing that were different from the status-quo with asymmetrical tailoring and pointed hemlines. We wanted to bring the person wearing our garment into the MENEZ universe, a place where you can be who ever you want to be, a place of empowerment and inclusivity. Once we created MENEZ we knew design lit a fire that could not be extinguished.\

MENEZ, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

We are brothers Vincent and Saul Jimenez. We are designers and creators of MENEZ, we create couture and ready-to-wear clothing and accessories for brave people. We wanted to create a brand that would take you to another dimension. A dimension where you can put on a MENEZ garment and take on the world no matter what obstacles get in the way. Making you feel bold, brave, and elegant while doing anything.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

Seeing our ideas come to life from beginning to end is the most rewarding feeling. It all starts with an idea, we like to communicate ideas to each other using art, drawings are our favorite language. Its rewarding to see people wearing our creations, there’s nothing like seeing the confidence and joy in people when wearing MENEZ. We want people to feel empowered and brave to take on the world.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

MENEZ is about empowerment and inclusivity. The MENEZ philosophy is about following your dreams and creating a new reality, even if the status-quo isn’t what we want it to be, we can create a better world where our ideas do exist. We want to make designs that empower people to feel confident to take on their daily life.
