Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Melody Williams. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Melody, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’re complete cheeseballs and so we love asking folks to share the most heartwarming moment from their career – do you have a touching moment you can share with us?
Since I have been on my Humanaritian journey, I have met so many different people from all walks of life. And it’s always a pleasure for me to be able to do whatever a person is in desperate need of.
I had a lady called me one day, she had the correct phone number as well and she said that she knew from helping people but I didn’t remember meeting her at all…I spoke to her once and told her well even if you don’t know me, just call me back whenever you need something. And she did just that and I had to go see this lady for Thanksgiving ’25 with some items she needed to complete her thanksgiving for her family and y’all I couldn’t remember meeting this lady a day in my life lol😂 but I pulled up for the cause cause WHAT?! GO HELP MY KIND!!! So, me and Miss Jackie has this relationship now and I love it, she’s a elder and she has some limited mobility and that’s fine with me, me and family get out here and beat the streets as much as we can with the help and positive motives.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am Melody Williams, your local Humanaritian but your known plus size model/ brand in Atlanta, Georgia.
I have worked with Shein, Macy’s, small boutiques, amouree brand, akira, etc.
I love to brand products for companies, give the honest reviews, push revenue for the cause, I love myself and my confidence and I get out here push the brand.
I stand firm in Neighborhood Activities, as I am floating in the Humanaritian realm, I am looking to push for positive changes and changes that make SENSE/CENTS. I am standing firm in the Youth, we got to get them more focused on living instead of dying out here, got to get a grasp of the mental heath issues of the public, most definitely got to get back to being humanized, a lot of people have lost sense of what it is to be a human and live in a world where WE exist. Right now, we are in legislative session where it will end on April 2nd, and here In Georgia, you can catch me at the Capitol on a early Thursday morning checking on the bills being passed and speaking to Senate and House Reps.

If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
Growing up, I initially wanted to be a pediatrician, but life had other plans lol…
And I still winded up being someone that the kids needed as far someone to show them CORRECT ways to move in life when they didn’t get that at home like how to take proper baths, how to study, how to go to the store and get hygiene products, how to fill out job applications, how to do math, how to read, how to speak proper, someone taught me these things outside of school, so I just continue the tradition of being the neighbor. Being the pioneer that a neighborhood of actual good people needed.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A lot of things I do now, I didn’t think was possible due to the way of the world and the way the world thinks. All the stigma surrounded around size and weight, I didn’t think I would be who I am today, so I unlearned that that wouldn’t apply to me cause me being EXACTLY who I am is the reason why I am who I am today and I’M NOT DONE😁
