Almost every entrepreneur we know has considered donating a portion of their sales to an organization or cause – how did you make the decision of whether to donate? We’d love to hear the backstory if you’re open to sharing the details.
Yes, giving back has been an integral part of our company since day one. We donate a percentage of each sale to various organizations that support those in need. Our very first partner was Family Promise, the nation’s foremost organization addressing family homelessness. Since then, we’ve embraced a rotating approach, contributing to different charities to support a diverse range of causes. This commitment not only allows us to make a positive impact but also reflects our values as a company.

Hi all! My name is Melody, and I’m the founder of Botanique Bundles, an online gift bundle company dedicated to supporting women through various phases of life—pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. As a mom of two and a Registered Dietitian, my personal and professional experiences have been the driving forces behind the creation of Botanique Bundles.
I started this journey because I wanted to provide postpartum moms with the highest quality, nontoxic, organic products and foods that genuinely support lactation and recovery. I understand firsthand the challenges new moms face, and my goal is to make their transition into motherhood a little easier and more nourishing.
At Botanique Bundles, we offer thoughtfully curated gift bundles that include essential items for self-care, nutrition, and wellness. Each bundle is designed to address the unique needs of women during and after pregnancy, helping them feel supported and cared for.
What sets us apart is our commitment to quality and education. As a Registered Dietitian, I prioritize evidence-based products that truly make a difference. I also strive to empower women by providing valuable resources and guidance on nutrition and wellness.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
The journey of building an audience for my brand, Botanique Bundles, began with a clear vision and an understanding of my target audience. Initially, I focused on creating high-quality content that resonated with mothers and those interested in sustainable and nontoxic living. I shared tips on postpartum and motherhood, the benefits of different products and foods to support the process.
I engaged with my audience by responding to comments, asking questions, and encouraging them to share their own stories. Collaborating with influencers helped to expand my reach, as their followers were already aligned with my brand values.
Advice for Those Just Starting:
Know Your Audience: Understand who your ideal followers are and what content they find valuable. This will guide your content strategy.
Consistency is Key: Post regularly to keep your audience engaged. Create a content calendar to plan and maintain a steady flow of posts.
Engagement Matters: Don’t just post and disappear; engage with your audience. Respond to comments, ask for feedback, and create polls to encourage interaction.
Leverage Hashtags: Use relevant hashtags to increase visibility, but make sure they are specific to your niche to attract the right audience.
Collaborate: Partnering with other brands or influencers can help you tap into their audiences and increase your visibility.
Monitor Analytics: Keep an eye on your social media analytics to understand what content resonates most and adjust your strategy accordingly.
Building an audience takes time, but with dedication and a genuine connection to your community, it can be a rewarding experience.


What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?
When my closest girlfriends would give birth, I wanted to get them something useful and nurturing. As a Registered Dietitian and mom, I knew how important and sometimes difficult breastfeeding and birth healing can be, so I created gift bundles that would focus on those two things. I made a wide array of baskets and bundles for my closest friends. It wasn’t until these friends would ask me if they could buy one for their sisters or cousins, who just gave birth, that I thought of turning this into a gift bundle company. That’s when my side hustle became my full time career!
From there, I expanded into pregnancy, wellness, spa, and other gift bundles to help support women throughout various phases of life. My goal is to continue supporting women by offering high quality, nontoxic and organic products and foods to help support women throughout life.
