Alright, Mell thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the best or worst investment you’ve made (either in terms of time or money)? (Note, these responses are only intended as entertainment and shouldn’t be construed as investment advice)
I would say my best investment would be buying my first piece of equipment. I’ve bee wanting to do music for a long time, since the age of five years old to be exact. So I came up with a plan. I told myself I should find a hustle like selling candy and chips and school and save up every dollar I make to buy me a laptop. I purchased my first laptop around around Summer 2014 and I took off from there.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I got into music at a young age. My dad used to sing to me when I was an infant and that just motivated me to sing. I actually won a talent show when I was five years old. I offer people the chance to listen to my story and listen to everything I went through and seen in my life. I think for me, that’s what makes a great song.
How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
I think we as a society should offer our creatives, artists and musicians with more infrastructure and more opportunities for these people to showcase their talents to the world. It’s a lot of talented people out there that haven’t got to show off their talent because the lack of support from family, friends, colleagues, etc. I believe if people show more support, they’ll be more opportunities for creators.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
The mission that’s driving my creative journey is providing independent musicians a platform for their music to be heard. It’s not just about me making money or anything. I just want to help my fellow musicians that haven’t or can’t release their music. That way they can put their music out and put music in their pockets as well. That’s the goal for me.
