We were lucky to catch up with Melissa Wright recently and have shared our conversation below.
Melissa, appreciate you joining us today. To kick things off, we’d love to hear about things you or your brand do that diverge from the industry standard
We are a diverse group of performers in cultures and talent styles. We cater to the communities that surround the DC metro area and beyond. If A client envisions it, it’s our goal to achieve it to the best of our ability.

Melissa, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’ve personally been in the event entertainment industry since 2010 starting as a freestyle dancer for clubs and nightlife. My second love is aerial hoop in 2016, third mermaid performing and adding fire in 2020.
My team has been curated over the years to provide engaging and professional event talent.
We are at events to add photo opportunities and set the event theme into living art.
It starts with an idea or theme and develops into freestyle talent or into fully curated shows depending on the clients desires.

Have you ever had to pivot?
During covid, I pivoted from running my personal entertainment career into representing other talent and showcasing what the DC metro area has to offer.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
It’s not an “everyone for themself” mentality. There’s an abundance of opportunities. In entertainment, that scarcity mindset is the poison of the industry. The more we learn to work together and set standards, the better it will be for everyone.
