Melissa, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?
The name Holley Impact Marketing is a reflection of both purpose and faith. The name originates from my last name, Holley, representing who I am. Impact was chosen because I strive to make a lasting impression on every person and business I work with. And of course, Marketing encapsulates the core of what I do.
Together, the first letters of each word spell out the word, “HIM”. And this holds a deeper significance to me. This symbolizes my faith and remind me daily that I am a child of God. Without HIM, none of my successes would be possible, and I wouldn’t be where I am today. Holley Impact Marketing is more than a business; it’s a testament to the power of faith, purpose, and the drive to make a meaningful difference.

My journey into the world of marketing began when I started as the administrative assistant at Town Center at Cobb. It was there that I developed a love for marketing, which eventually led to my promotion to the marketing director. Working alongside talented individuals like Karah VanHoose with North Atlanta Events and Layth Qahtan with Bungee Fun LLC and many other businesses, I further fueled my passion. Helping them promote their businesses and seeing the direct impact of effective marketing made me fall in love with this craft.
At Holley Impact Marketing, I specialize in digital marketing strategies tailored to the unique needs of each client. From social media management to brand strategy, content creation, and event promotion, I provide the tools businesses need to thrive in an ever-changing digital landscape.
What sets me apart is my personalized approach—I don’t just work for my clients; I work with them, ensuring that their vision comes to life in meaningful ways. At the heart of my work is the belief that every business deserves to leave a lasting impact.
One of my proudest moments was when I worked with North Atlanta Events on their “Adopted Family Christmas” program. Karah was helping a family in need for Christmas, and I had the privilege of assisting by marketing in selling tickets for a raffle with a shopping spree giveaway. The funds raised gave her the ability to meet the needs of the family and give them a Christmas to remember. That experience reminded me of the power of marketing to not only promote businesses but also to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Building my reputation within the marketing industry has been a journey rooted in consistency, relationship-building, and a genuine passion for helping businesses thrive. One of the most important things that helped me establish myself was working closely with local businesses and creating real connections. I also take pride in delivering results that speak for themselves. Whether it’s increasing a client’s online visibility, driving engagement, or helping them achieve their event goals, I always strive to go above and beyond. Word of mouth from satisfied clients and positive feedback has played a huge role in building my reputation.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best source of new clients for Holley Impact Marketing has definitely been word of mouth. As I’ve built strong, genuine relationships with clients, their trust in my work has led to recommendations to others in their networks. My involvement in local events has helped me connect with other businesses and individuals who are looking for marketing support. Social media has also played a significant role in bringing in new clients.
