Hi Melanie, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
BV Consulting (BVC) was established after a decade of working in marketing agencies, where I saw a common trend: many agencies tailor their solutions based on their own specialties rather than the full needs of their clients. If you partner with a media-focused agency, you often receive ad-heavy solutions. If it’s a creative agency, the emphasis is typically on branding. While these approaches have their place, I realized that clients often needed something more comprehensive to achieve their business goals.
At BVC, we take a different approach. Instead of limiting ourselves to a specific service offering, we focus on what truly matters to our clients by becoming an extension of their team. We offer full-service marketing and public relations solutions, custom-tailored to address the unique challenges and opportunities of each business. Our team is made up of experts who collaborate to deliver results that go beyond just solving immediate needs: we look at the long-term impact.

After over a decade working across marketing agencies of all sizes, I founded BV Consulting to create a truly client-centric approach to marketing and public relations. My career journey has given me a unique perspective – I’ve worked at a large agency where solutions were often dictated by the business model, a boutique agency where creativity shined, and a media agency where I developed a deep technical understanding of execution. Experiencing all sides of the operation sparked my desire to build an agency that breaks away from one-size-fits-all strategies.
At BV Consulting, we pull from all possible tools and strategies to deliver solutions that are not only effective but meaningful to our clients. We work as true partners, deeply understanding their goals and building tailored strategies that feel seamless to their teams. Whether it’s branding, digital campaigns, PR, or storytelling, our work is grounded in strategy and fueled by passion.
I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of creativity and technical problem-solving, and founding my own agency gave me the opportunity to build something that reflects my favorite aspects of this industry. Today, BV Consulting is thriving, and I’m proud to lead a growing team that shares my commitment to delivering exceptional results while truly becoming an extension of our clients’ teams.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
My reputation has been built on relationships and trust—two things I hold as the foundation of everything I do. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work across industries and with people who have inspired me to continually learn and grow. What truly helped me stand out, though, is my commitment to listening first. I make it a point to deeply understand what my clients need and, more importantly, what they hope to achieve.
It’s not just about delivering results – it’s about being someone they know will show up, every time, with integrity and a genuine desire to help them succeed. That approach has not only shaped my reputation but has also fueled the joy I feel in seeing their wins. I believe people trust you when they see you care about their vision as much as they do, and I take that responsibility to heart.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Referrals! The power of word-of-mouth has been absolutely pivotal for us, and we’re so grateful for the incredible clients who trust us enough to share our name with others. These partnerships thrive on mutual respect and our collaborative, results-driven approach. When clients see how invested we are in their success, they naturally want to share that experience with others who could benefit from a tailored and strategic approach to marketing.
