We recently connected with Megan Loda and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Megan, thanks for joining us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
Have you ever experienced something that at the time was so bad but ended up being the best thing to ever happen to you? When I was 21 years old I had two herniated disc and rushed into back surgery. I spiraled into a deep depression that eventually led me to start my health and wellness journey. I fell in love with prioritizing my health and started taking a holistic approach. This changed my life and inspired me to make the scary jump to transition from an elementary teacher to an entrepreneur. Life is short and if we aren’t taking risk to pursue our passion we will wake up 80 years old with a lot of regret.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I created my coaching business the Positively Fit Community almost five years ago. We’ve now helped thousands of women prioritize their health and feel in good in their skin while living a flexible lifestyle.. Last year I founded its sister company Coaching with Confidence to help other female health coaches launch and scale their business. I knew if more coaches were able to grow their business it would mean more lives changed through health and wellness.
Both coaching companies take a very customized approach to transform our clients lives.
We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
We get to know all of our clients on a 1-1 basis. Accountability and communication are two key factors to your clients seeing the results they desire. Weekly check ins and phone calls are scheduled from the very beginning to ensure this. We also have a big group chat to provide daily support!

Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.
Yes, coaching started out as a small part time size hustle but I quickly saw how passionate I was to make a bigger impact. There is not a single business out there that has not faced obstacles and challenges. However, what separates those that are successful is the ones that don’t give up. They see the challenges as opportunities to grow and evolve into a better business.
