Megan, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?
I had been staging weddings for some time and noticed a lack of elegant bars in the industry. I came across an old horse trailer in a field one day, and had the vision of my original bar, Simply Unstabled. With the help of my husband, John, we brought that vision to life and began the journey of creating bars and accessories to help our couples create the wedding of their dreams. Simply Unstabled took many months to complete. I then had to navigate the world of government regulations and liquor laws to ensure I was compliant. Since 2017 we have added 4 more bars with another on the way. Each bar tells a story and they all have a completely different vibe.
Megan, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
We strive to customize each wedding to each client with décor, signature drinks, custom bar menus and cocktails. We handcraft all of our own simple syrups, purees, garnishes, and drams. We feature real ingredients such garden fresh mint, and organic fruits. We assist with shopping lists for our clients and meet with them to create and taste test their signature drinks so it reflects them and the aesthetic that they are looking to create.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Details. Our core belief is focus on each detail that creates a memorable day for our clients and wows their guests. Each bar is decorated in the theme of the event from an elegant custom menu displayed, to complementary decorations around the bar as well as the garnishes and finishing touches on every drink.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
Much of our business relies on client referrals. We get those referrals by providing client-focused care to each event nd cater to the needs of all guests.
