We recently connected with Megan Furby and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Megan, thanks for joining us today. Do you have a hero? What have you learned from them?
I would have to say that my hero(s) are my parents. My parents have always been my number 1 and have always pushed to have what’s best for me. They encourage me to pursue my dreams and to fight for what I believe in. I was taught that when you start something you finish it. For example: when I started a sport, even if I didn’t like it I would have to finish the season and then I never had to do the sport again. To show that you never give up on someone when they are expecting you to be there. That you are not letting someone else down, but that you are also finishing a job that you chose to do.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I grew up in a small town and then went to college where I majored in Production Media and minored in Public Relations. I thought about how I wanted to use all the knowledge I gained from college and use on social media. I’ve always been a person who likes to make people smile and that’s what I want to bring to my platform. So I decided to start spreading joy and positivity online.
Along with the joy and positivity I also enjoy sharing the news about my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have had such a huge group of friends and family that keep me encouraged enough to post and keep making videos!

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
One of the most rewarding aspects of being an artist or creative is the group of friends you can meet through social media and being a part of a creative community. The community is so supportive and friendly. You have people reaching out to you and supporting you not just by like your work or commentating, but also willing to help you out when you have questions. Or just to show respect with pushing you forward when you are down.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
A goal or mission I have driving me on my creative journey is I’ve always been a person who likes to make people smile. I enjoy spreading joy and positivity online where you can also see so much negativity. Sometimes escaping the negativity is seeing someone who is cheering for you or someone who understands what you are going through. That is where I like to encourage or to let my viewers know that I am there for them.
