We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Megan Fitzsimmons a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Megan, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s been the best thing you’ve ever seen (or done yourself) to show a client that you appreciate them?

I feel that Megan’s Amazing Adventures goes above and beyond the call of duty. We treat our clients like family. We prepare them before the trip by sending their final documents 2-3 weeks before their trip. The final documents include all the necessary information for their upcoming trip but also includes a thank-you gift for booking with us as a token of our appreciation. We also check in with them before, during, and after their trip. We follow up by sending a thank you card in the mail as well. I feel all of these small things go a long way with clients. They can feel the appreciation we have for them.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

The best way to get new clients is through word of mouth and referrals. We strive to have 5 star reviews which in return means clients are out telling others about our services. This is the main reason we have doubled our sales so far this year.
