Media, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
My best friend, Stefania Marzelia, recently launched her own company, Sips, and I’m thrilled she thought of me and asked me to run her marketing, events, and PR. It’s been an incredible experience working alongside her—our creative synergy allows us to bounce ideas off each other and map out strategies seamlessly. Sips officially launches in just a few days, and we’re both beyond excited about this journey and the opportunity to grow the brand together.
Media, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I began my career interning at several public relations firms in New York and Los Angeles, where I discovered that while I loved the fast-paced environment, working in just PR full time wasn’t my true passion. I shifted to full-time roles in marketing and advertising with some PR in the mix at times, gaining experience across a variety of industries, including healthcare, fashion, beauty, and health & wellness. This diverse background has shaped my creative approach, allowing me to develop a well-rounded perspective on how to effectively market to different audiences.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
During my time working in Chicago, I quickly realized the role wasn’t fulfilling for me—I dreaded going into the office each day. That was the turning point when I knew I needed a change. Now, I’m in a role I truly enjoy, surrounded by a team I love working with, and I couldn’t be happier with the direction my career has taken.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
For every event at the company I work for, I share engaging content across multiple platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. I always make it a point to highlight and thank our sponsors, as well as everyone who participated, ensuring they feel appreciated and recognized. I make sure to remember then names of who I have been emailing at certain companies and for certain clients and I go out of my way to meet them at events and introduce myself.
