Mea, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
Canibetipsy was nothing that I sat down and thought about. It was something that just happened. I love to host get togethers with my friend and I am always the bartender. I also love to do little cute stuff when making my drinks. So one day I decided to put the drinks in the drink pouches. I handed them out one night at one of my podcast and my DJ at the time asked me was I selling them and I said No. Week after week he would ask me the same thing and I would always say no. One day a friend of mine was having a pop up shop as suggested I sell my drinks. I said ok and I sold out. I was then invited to another pop up shop and I sold out again. After that Canibetipsy was born. My team and I thought of a name and I immediately applied for my LLC and other permits I would need and it has been evolving ever since.



Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I am originally from New York. I have lived in Houston for a while now. What I provide for my customers is everything signature when it comes to cocktails. I can provide custom bottles with labels and a one of a kind custom drink. Canibetipsy is mostly online based but I a lot of pop up shops, farmers markets and festivals. I also do private events as well. The thing I am most proud of is how fast Canibetipsy is growing and making a name for itself in less than a year.


Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for me growing my clientele is consistency. You have to put the work in now matter how tired and drained you are. I am consistent with everything that I do when it comes to Canibetipsy. The main thing is my product is the same taste and quality every time my customer purchase a canibetipsy drink. My customer service is the same and my employees are knowledgeable about the products and can answer any questions for my customers.


What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The best source of clients for me honestly has been word of mouth first and social media second. Most of the time when someone taste my drinks and purchase they always say that they know someone who has birthday, anniversary, or some type of event coming up and they refer Canibetipsy.
