Maya Verzonilla, aka Maya The Shaman, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.

I have been a multi-layered artist all my life, always getting involved in many forms of multimedia Art, and I was blessed to have made a very good living out of it. I stumbled into the world of the Healing Arts through my daughter, who gifted me with certified courses on basic and advanced healing modalities two decades ago during my visit to Los Angeles. Soon after, I am hooked. Twenty years ago, I started my healing business by letting my friends have a taste of my healing work by providing free healing sessions. As time passed, I got paid for my healing work and gradually raised my rates over the years since I could only accommodate a small number of clients. My Healing Arts evolved dramatically. Being highly intuitive and systematic, I realized I could further improve and even jump-start fresh, cutting-edge healing techniques that create incredible and far more powerful results.

Integrating my innovative and ancient shamanic healing modality from the East and upgrading forms of healing from the West, the East-West powerful healing modalities were born: Lemurian Code Healing & Infinite Cosmic Records.

My incredible healer’s journey began when I created my original healing modalities. These are the greatest gift in my healing journey. Lemuria is a great name I associate with to provide my healing business support of the ancient ancestral backbone I come from. It is supported by the icon I termed “HBR,” meaning that the foundation of my healing modality is based on a ‘HEART-CENTERED,’ micro-to-macro heart connection with the Source of this Universe, to ‘BRIDGE’ the gap between Heaven and Earth through ‘REMEMBERING.’ 

The ailing needs of the West can benefit from the East — this ancient Shamanic energy healing through Lemurian Code Healing and Infinite Cosmic Records are powerful modalities that go deep into knowing who you truly are and your relationship with the Cosmos. Infinite Cosmic Records technique came out of Lemurian Code Healing, a Shamanic journey to doorways of your past, present, or future lives. As my clients enter the doorways to their intended issue, it’s like movies would play back to be remembered, thereby resolving traumatic-looping issues, enhancing soul growth, and allowing you to move forward. An authentic healing method of discovering who you truly are, why you’re here on Earth, and your purpose and mission. 

Maya, before we ask you more questions, please introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations.

I am a descendant of Lemuria, born in Maharlika, known as the Philippines, who live most of my life in America. I come from a family of healers, shamans, artists, and engineers, and the name Maya The Shaman fits in as my tag healer’s name. We are intuitive psychics and seers with scientific DNA backgrounds. My grandfather, Lolo Pino, was a well-known healer before WW2 in Maharlika. Lolo Pino has hundreds of clients from nearby towns who would line up under the sun’s heat and wait hours to see him for his cures. My grandmother, Lola Senyang, was our Matriarch intuitive seer who predicted the future. My great-great-grandfather, Don Pedro, is a mystic Shaman with superpowers of walking on water, flying in the air, and opening and closing portals. My father, uncles, and cousins were magnetically attracted to all forms of engineering, from mechanical, electrical, and plant engineering, including robotics. My father, in particular, had a brilliant DNA, with 3 engineering categories under his belt. Having rich DNA in my blood, it is natural for me to follow in the footsteps of my family’s artistic-healing-innovative systematic creator qualities.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

Resilience comes from learning to constantly make adjustments in life and be ready to face adversity. Even when I struggle and life takes me on a trolly down the hill, as if falling is the last destination, it helps me to think positively. It keeps me focused on my goals. Shaping character, discipline, and hard work are important long-term success factors that hold me together like glue. It’s slowly building a business with patience, focus, and integrity. It’s all energy. I have always worked very hard in my life. Since my 20s, my motivation to learn as many skills as possible gathered under my belt through diligent work created discipline and made me into a perfectionist craftswoman through hard work. I became a professional sign painter, calligrapher, and graphic artist in a small Palo Alto office in California. In my late 30s, I moved to Oregon and became a successful clothes and jewelry designer after working at Shakespeare theater and owning my Wearable Arts Gallery until my late 40s. In my 50s, I moved to the Appalachian mountains and started my healing career. The Healing Arts became my strongest interest. I devoted my time and energy to intuitively creating my original healing modalities and founded my Lemurian Code Academy to house my original healing techniques: Lemurian code Healing and Infinite Cosmic Records, which I plan to start teaching in 2023. “Slow and steady wins the race.” Being a creator, I have to be patient. These are time-consuming intuitive, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual work but relevant, so I kept staying grounded even when the lows got low because I saw the highs get higher. I learned to work with energy until I realized I could master this wave of challenges and come out with flying colors. Having the staying power and loving what you’re doing is how I can assist my clients and teach my students to never give up and be resilient.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

My reputation has been built by word of mouth and referrals. I have yet to do major advertising. I’m not a Facebook, IG, or social media person right now, as I spend most of my time and energy creating content. I am also a writer and collaborative author of multiple books such as Awakening Starseeds Volumes 1-2-3, Bestseller Energy Healing & Soul Medicine,’ Pillars of Light, and keep your eyes peeled on my upcoming book “Infinite Cosmic Records: Sacred Doorways to Healing & Remembering.” These books are produced by Radhaa Publishing House and can be found in major outlets such as Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Target, and Powell Books, and if you’d like, you can get it directly from me with my autograph. In the meantime, it has been miraculous to build my business. There are many moving parts to consider in constantly updating and refining my fine Art of Healing. I’m about to launch my certified program for my students at my Lemurian Code Academy by 2023.
