May, appreciate you joining us today. One of our favorite things to brainstorm about with friends who’ve built something entrepreneurial is what they would do differently if they were to start over today. Surely, there are things you’ve learned that would allow you to do it over faster, more efficiently. We’d love to hear how you would go about setting things up if you were starting over today, knowing everything that you already know.
Love this question due to the fact i am starting over with my business idea. Jewelry was always for me without a doubt, clothing was always a part of my plan so I added it in my idea, 1 thing i would do differently is not rush and take my time to make sure everything is on point before i bring anything out. Have a plan before you make decisions. Where i am today i feel like God has blessed me & put me in many positions where I could do for me & make everything happen for me regardless of any situation.. To get to where i am right now faster i definitely would choose a different route when it came to actually starting or knowing stuff about taxes, etc. I had to teach my self everything so it was a little slow. I work alone so i’m always tryna do a lot at worse making sure orders get out, delays don’t happen etc.

Hey, My name is Mayleena but everyone calls me May bae. I sell customize jewelry & i been selling jewelry since 2018 but things change & now in 2022 i will be selling jewelry & clothes! Pieces for the girls, I am very versatile i could sell anything if it came down to it. To start off What i truly think sets me apart from other jewelry businesses is My material, The quality, The service. Things may not be perfect all the time, but i make sure my items are 100% top tier. I wouldn’t sell anything i wouldn’t wear. I’m most proud of the attention and clientele i could bring all from promoting. I promote day & night. Even if it gets 0 likes, i still post cause people see it. Manifesting is KEY. I would like everyone to know that “ Fly Girls Wear It “ is my slogan , because it’s definitely true my customers are from all over the world & they rock my items Elegantly. I wouldn’t know where i would be w/o such great support.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy to growing my clients is TWITTER. twitter is amazing to share business ideas & Also Tik ToK, keep posting when people see you always promoting non stop someone is gonna click on your profile. Having people share your post! Sending free items to influencers & having them promote. It’s a lot of ways that really have grown me mostly, but posting non stop is 1.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
A time in my life where i had to Pivot probably happened about a year ago when my Grandmother passed away. Everything was great especially buisness but i felt my lowest when she passed. But i could also say it has pushed me to work Harder & get everything done like i said i was. She was my life line, grandparents are a kids forever friend the unconditional love & support i got from my Grandmother was truly different. to be honest I am where i am today cause of my Family. Family over everything. I’m a pending billionaire and i can’t wait to give them the world.
