Max , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
We have been around for over 100 years, our roots go back to 1904. We’re the 3rd largest broker dealer in North America with about 67,000 licensed professionals actively working with us. Even though were 3rd size, we are actually #1 in distribution which means that we help more families with our products then any other company in north America The Reason is because of who we are able to help… The traditional industry only helps the wealthy and normally requires a $1,000,000 upfront investment. With us our mission is NO FAMILY LEFT BEHIND and we want to help everyone. So it doesn’t matter if you have $100 or $100,000,000 like our bigger clients, we can help you.
As a non captive company we work with 75% of all the multi billion-dollar fortune 500 financial institutions so because we can do pretty much anything when it comes to money, we sit down with a family, provide education, find out their goals and then we become their broker and go find the company and or companies that specialize in exactly what they are looking for. Not only that, but everything we do for a family is also complementary because we don’t charge the family, we charge the company for bringing them a client they wouldn’t have without us, creating a win win win scenario; Win for the client because they now have 24/7 access to a team of financial specialists that can help them with anything when it comes to money not only now but over the years to come. It’s a win for the company because they gained a client they wouldn’t have without us And it’s a win for the agent because they are able to sit down with families having no agenda and feel amazing about what they do.

My name is Max Freeman and I played sports growing up such as Hockey and Football. I attended Saginaw Valley State where I graduated with a Bachelors in Exercise Science. My passion is fitness so I am a personal trainer as well but as I was starting my fitness career; I had a buddy in finance. I sat down with him to learn more about the industry and I was curious to how I can begin a career path in that industry. I want to help people in multiple ways and I figured if I can help people learn where to put their money to create generational wealth as well as helping them become a healthier version of themselves then there is no better combo. As a Independent Financial broker, I focus on helping people creating wealth, minimizes taxes, and increasing net worth. Because I work with 77+ companies, I offer products such as, retirement plans, college funds, estate plans, Annuities, Will prep, Life insurance, long term care, etc.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
I would say the most effective strategy for growing my clientele would be word of mouth because once I sit down with someone and they see how they will reach their financial goals; They feel great. This is one of the most stressful things, every single person deals with is how to invest their money for retirement, college, etc.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
In this industry, you are working with peoples money; so you have to be a person with integrity. I think if you do right by people then they will do right by you.
