We recently connected with Mauriett Chayeb and have shared our conversation below.
Mauriett, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
A lifelong dream of mine has been to establish a legacy with my career. With an unpronounceable name “Mauriett Chayeb” but it’s credited with entertainment projects globally. My voice has played in cinema territories I’ve never travelled to, but my work has! Imagination will be my legacy, I’m always up to something. New challenge always around the corner and I accomplish them in my own style.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’ve been working hard over a decade in any production possible just to work in entertainment. I helped launch huge tv shows logistically and from the ground up all over the U.S. for HGTV, VH1, MTV, Bravo, Telemundo behind the scenes. I never thought I would ever end up a voice actress. A random Craigslist audition brought me a new career! Over thirty films and fifty series featuring my voice all over the world. Being voice talent as a female has been incredibly empowering because you can be anything you want with voice change unlike being a female in our society. Creating with my voice has been liberating! As a bullied kid growing up I would love to demonstrate to others that you can evolve from that trauma and make your dreams come true, whatever they may be. Follow your heart and focus to achieve anything.
Some of my most recent voice work includes:
Goodbye Monster (film streaming now)
Anpanman (film franchise on Tubi)
Topo Gigio (animated series)
Wakfu Season 4 (series)
Alice’s Diary (coming soon)
Inspector Sun (film streaming now)
Soulsnack (YouTube 1.5 M Subscribers)
Thank you to the supportive teams at Centauro, Macias, & SoulSnack for having my back!

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Once a client contracts me as their voice or character on camera, I take the responsibility to heart because this job is my dream come true. Even if family needs me, I have been able to balance work life. Most difficult times this year have been learning lines from a hospital bedside of my parent losing his life to cancer. I honestly look back at these past months and don’t know how we kept going as a family. Pure love keeps you going whether in life or career, make sure you never give up.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding thing in life for me is to see my parents reaction about the animation projects or episodes I film, they feel pride to see me succeed & have their last name scroll in credits. My mother arrived to this country on a tugboat from Cuba, that is never far from my mind. I had the ability to graduate from university on scholarship and achieve everything in my life because she wanted to have a daughter born in freedom.
