Matthew , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.

I worked with Mercedes-Benz for 10 years before opening my own European garage, this was my first taste of the business life, I had no clue how to run a business or have a mentor to relate to! This was a huge risk because I had a comfortable job with Mercedes-Benz as a technician. The reason why I ventured into the small business life is “regret” I chose not to live with it! Fast forward to the present and I now own a mobile detailing business and I am playing around with short term rental real estate.

So I am a father of 2 boys, and a hard working individual that does not take no for a answer. I strive on excellence in my family, business and services! I got into the industry a while back while working with Mercedes-Benz, I was a technician but always talked to the detail department as it was interesting to me on how they operated. This eventually turned into a side hustle that then grew into a business, starting with friends and family vehicles then moving onto actual outside customers. Covid then hit and I was left wondering how I would survive in a crashing economy, this brought me to thinking outside the box and started to work with steam for disinfection. This was a great value add and got me through the rough times in my business. Some services we offer is full details, interior disinfection services and ceramic coatings. We tend to solve the biggest issue for our customers which is time, by being mobile we can arrive at there home or office and get the job done while they are doing there everyday things. Our brand is building at a slow but steady rate which is fine with me due to other investments going on as well. To our fans and followers thank you for the continued support if it wasn’t for them we would not be in business today!

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

Funding the business in the beginning was easy, I went out to your big box stores and bought everything I needed to get started as a side hustle, totaling $500.00 dollar startup! Just goes to show a business can be started with minimal funds in the bank.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?

Get yourself a integrator! I read the book rocket fuel by gino wickman and mark c winters, changed my whole outlook on managing a business. A integrator keeps the business managed while a visionary comes to the table with new ideas to scale the company, together this is a fire duo that will not disappoint!
