We were lucky to catch up with Matthew Diana recently and have shared our conversation below.
Matthew, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
The Inspiration:
The idea came from recognizing a gap and feeling compelled to fill it. It wasn’t just about the product but about solving a real problem and making an impact.
Early Steps:
The next day, I shifted from thinking to doing. I committed to learning and taking action, knowing that progress comes from consistent effort. I sought out resources, built new skills, and connected with others who could help me grow.
Key Milestones:
As I moved forward, challenges became opportunities to learn. I embraced the process, understanding that setbacks were just steps on the path to success. My mindset was focused on growth, resilience, and adaptability.
The Launch:
When I finally launched, it wasn’t just about the result but about the journey. The positive response was a validation of the mindset that had driven me—persistence, creativity, and a commitment to the vision.
Reflection:
This experience reinforced that success starts with the right mindset. By staying focused, adaptable, and persistent, I was able to turn an idea into reality. Now, I’m ready to take on the next challenge with the same mentality.
Conclusion:
You have to make a system and continuously refine that system until it runs like a well-oiled machine whether you are there or not, then you can repeat the process.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I like to call myself a “Healthionaire,” a term that reflects being rich in both health and, eventually, wealth. While I’m still working on the wealth side, I’ve made significant strides in financial literacy over the past five years, and I’m getting there.
My journey into multiple industries was fueled by a pure passion for living life on my terms and creating a life I love. I knew that to achieve this, I needed to be stable in all aspects of life—health, wealth, and happiness. I believe that these are easily obtained by doing what you love and loving the life you live.
My first passion was music. From the age of 11, I’ve been a musician—playing drums, singing, and dabbling in piano. I’ve played with several bands, even getting one signed and going on tour, and have collaborated with numerous artists. However, as I grew older, I realized that making money in the music industry was a challenge, or rather, I didn’t fully understand how to.
While pursuing music, I discovered my second passion: nutrition and fitness. Around the same age I started taking music seriously, I also started working out. This led me to earn multiple certifications through ISSA and eventually start a business called “Lift Til’ Death.” I’ve been running LTD for about five years now, helping people achieve their nutrition and fitness goals. Along the way, I also started a meal prep company with friends, which we successfully ran for about three years.
Despite my success in these areas, I struggled with understanding money—how to make it, grow it, keep it, and invest it to create passive income so I could continue doing what I love. About five years ago, I embarked on a financial literacy journey. I learned about reducing taxes, securing tax benefits, real estate investments, stocks, crypto, bonds, mutual funds, lending, and the infinite banking concept.
Fast forward to today, I’ve found success in these industries and now focus on helping others achieve the same. I offer services across these sectors, and if anyone needs guidance, I’m here to help.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
The biggest lesson I learned was that everything I knew about money wasn’t true. I had to do tons of research and due diligence on financial literacy. The backstory is I just wasn’t good with money and developed a passion to become financially literate not only for myself but to help others as well.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I started to pivot from music to starting multiple businesses that would help me create an income so I can continue to do what I love the most.
