Hi Matthew , thanks for joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
This is the story of Voyage Of Sound. A divine calling and innate need to create,mixed with a drive to make something that helps or inspires others. This whole adventure has been a risk. This project has come at a cost of my time and my money both of which have affected my wife and my children. They have had to sacrifice too. My wife and I have been united in this ministry. If just one person is helped by Voyage Of Sound it is all worth it. If you wanna take a risk you have to make peace with yourself that you are going to be authentic,sincere and be open to the fact that things may be more or less successful than you think. The road may not go or end how you you think and that is okay. Adventure is here. Adventure is now. An adventure isn’t just some Paddleboarding, Canoeing or whatever trip. All of life is an Adventure. Greet everyday God gives you trusting Christ because you don’t know what is going to happen but He does.

I am Voyage Of Sound Sound Music. I released my first music project May 24, 2017 on Bandcamp. I released an EP available everywhere February 1st called Adventure Is Here. I make guitar centered mostly instrumental music that is meant to inspire and move people deeply. I hope you will give it a listen. Adventure Is Here and now.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
Follow their accounts, stream their music online. You can do that for free it doesn’t cost. Moreover, if their music has impacted you post about it, send them a message. Too many Artists feel depressed or discouraged because no one is telling them how much their art means.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
There is a self-fulfilling aspect to it. However, that is very temporal and we artists and creatives can sometimes be very up and down with how we feel about our art. The most rewarding part is when we hear other people’s stories about how they have been impacted.
