We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Matias Perez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Matias, appreciate you joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

I knew that first time I went out to a club with my friends in my 13th years old! I got in the club and I said: I want to be that guy in the booth…

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I got into my industry in my 14th years old, playing in open format parties like wedding parties. 15th years old parties, every weekend of my youth. I had a lot problems to solve, imagine I was 14 / 15 / 16 years old, and ai was playing for ppl of around 40 years old, had problems with music, logistics, parties problems as itself, that’s how I won full experience.
Im proud of myself cuz what I wanted I get, too much focus on my career. so that’s the main point, be focus.
My brand consist in community, consist in union, because I never had it, I did everything by myself without any help, so that’s what I want to share with my brand, help, union, community.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

In my opinion, the most rewarding aspect of being and artist is see the ppl enjoy and forget about their problems at least during my show.

I have a good view on NFTs, is a new system, ppl will adapt to it little by little, is a good way to show your digital art and move the business.
