We caught up with the brilliant and insightful MASKERATT a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, MASKERATT thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
Back in 2018 the project was born and everything had to be created from zero, ideas, topic, style etc etc
In that moment we where almost done with getting all the band members when pandemic started, we had to figure it out if we where going to start recording the album since it was a great investment or if we where going to let it go.
Thankfully by being together, we continued with rehearsals which worked as therapy for us and allowed us to complete the album Unreality.
The album was created without expecting any success, thankfully it started working out in 2022 when it was released.
After the release, we haven’t stopped. It has been a journey, being a successful artist has been fullfilled each step of the way. At the moment we are recording our second production called Mysterium which will be released very soon.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
The idea is to connect with the public, fans and followers.
We maintain symphonic music style with fantasy arrangements and lyrics. We want our content to be known by fans of all ages by being an inspiration, we want to leave a positive mark in all generations.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding thing is definetely the smile in our fans, when they feel connected with our songs is just the best!!
We have received comments and messages from fans telling us we helped them with mental and social issues and that somehow we left a mark on them.
Discipline and passion are the keys to achieve your dreams, we give our hearts for this and we will continue doing it.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
We wish we would’ve known what we know today, about technology, music , working with many people, goals and methods learned thru years.
The journey has been hard however, experience can always make it easier.
