Mary, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.

I have dreamed of living in CO since I was 16. I was traveling with family and saw the mountains and red rocks of Garden of the Gods and I was hooked-I felt I was home. It took 20 years and lots to trials to get here, but I finally did and have never looked back. I had a place to live for a few months and a potential job, so I hit the road. I changed my career, learned to ski and met wonderful friends that are now family. You need to believe it or you won’t see it-DREAMS DO COME TRUE!!

Mary, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Since moving to CO I have received certifications in Herbalism, Nutrition, Energy Medicine and Coaching. As a Coach I was running workshops to introduce myself to the community and 2 wonderful ladies came to a couple of the workshops and gifted me a session to the Harmonic Egg.

The Harmonic Egg is light and sound therapy. I was curious, so of course I went and had an excellent, relaxing and rejuvenating session at the Egg. I met the inventor, connected with her and became a member to experience monthly Egg sessions. Each session was unique and I could work on my mind, body or spirit. I loved it and eventually asked her if she sold Eggs to other people interested in having an Egg in a Wellness Center. She did and I signed up to be an Egg Guardian. My Egg, Evaine, took 9 months to be built and delivered (so I call her my baby). I opened the Harmonic Egg of Boulder County in July of 2020, as a Wellness Center, offering Egg Sessions, Coaching,…

The Egg Sessions can work on anything related to mind, body and/or soul. What sets me apart from other practitioners is that I work with clients 1-1 to help them improve their health and wellness, setting their light colors and music based on what the client is interested in, help them set their intentions so the sessions go even deeper and help them have the best experience as possible.

I am most proud that I was able to help individuals, families and business owners who were effected by the Marshall Fire here in Boulder County. I offered free and love offering sessions and was also able to provide additional free sessions due to donations from Angel Donators. Hearing the stories, feeling their pain and then seeing how the Egg Session took a load off their nervous systems was amazing. There was some significant healing due to the power of the light and sound therapy the Egg provides.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

Resilience-wow-the hardest time in my life was when I was 33 years old and my 34 year old brother was killed in an accident. It shook me to core of my being. Watching my parents and siblings survive this tragedy was hard. Eight months later my dad died, in my opinion of a broken heart after losing my brother. This was definitely the hardest time of my life. I gave up my dream of moving to CO because I felt I needed to be near family and friends. Life was joyless and for a long time I just went through the motions. As time went by, my faith in a higher power resurfaced and gave me hope for the future and brought joy back into my life. I did not walk this path alone – I walked with friends, family and a higher power; all of which had to carry me at times. Well it worked-here I am in CO, living my dream life. You can too, you never know what wonderful thing is just around the corner!

If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?

Yes, I would choose the same profession if I had to go back, but I would do it sooner in life. Working for other people as an employee is great but being your own boss, creating your business is so much more freeing. Don’t get me wrong, I feel it is harder in many ways than being an employee, but it is so much more rewarding.
