We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Marsha Kreho. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Marsha below.
Alright, Marsha thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
I’ve learned that sometimes the biggest risks are the ones that ask us to trust ourselves—especially when no one else really gets it. True courage, for me, hasn’t been about fearlessness. It’s been about moving forward with shaky hands, a strong heart, and a quiet voice inside that says, “This is the way.”
At 19, I found out I was pregnant. A lot of people looked at me like it was the end of my story. But I wasn’t scared. The situation wasn’t easy—during my pregnancy, the baby’s father developed a meth addiction, and the relationship became physically abusive. The moment that happened, I left. I knew I’d be raising my baby alone, and strangely, that didn’t terrify me either.
You see, I had already lived through chaos. I grew up with alcoholic parents and spent much of my childhood helping to raise my siblings. I knew how to show up. I knew how to care for others. And I knew exactly what kind of parent I didn’t want to be. This wasn’t about just surviving—I was going to break the cycle. I was going to raise this baby with intention, with love, and with the kind of stability I never had.
That baby boy? He’s all grown up now. A member of the Air Guard, an ISU business and finance major, with the biggest heart and one of the most magical beings I know. Everyone who doubted me, who said having a child would ruin my life, couldn’t have been more wrong. He (and my other children now) have filled my life with so much joy. We didn’t always have it easy, but he now understands the importance of taking risks and leading with your heart. Looking at him, I see living proof that trusting your intuition, even when the world doubts you, can lead to something beautiful beyond imagination.
I started honing in on my intuition in my early twenties. I would quietly read for friends or friends-of-friends—just little moments that felt sacred and natural. But then, everything changed. My mom passed away, my then-husband left, and I was diagnosed with MS. At this point, I had two babies and was forced to move back to the small town I grew up in—a place where intuition, energy, and spiritual gifts weren’t exactly welcomed or talked about. So, I tucked it all away. I focused on surviving, on raising my children, on rebuilding my life. The gifts were still there, but they went quiet for a while.
Eventually, in 2013, I made a decision that others questioned: I stopped all MS medications and began following my intuition fully. It wasn’t impulsive—it was deeply guided. And since that decision, I haven’t had a single relapse.
I didn’t know it at the time, but that was the beginning of a pattern: listening to my soul, even when the world thought I was being reckless. I started meditating, reconnecting with spirit, and slowly letting the parts of me I’d hidden begin to emerge again.
In 2016, I was finishing up my Master’s degree. While writing my thesis, my best friend—who had just finished her doctorate—was helping me edit it. She stopped mid-edit one night and said, “We’re gonna take a break—you’re doing a group reading.” I was hesitant, but I agreed. I showed up to a house where 20 people were waiting. I read for everyone in the room. And just like that, the doors opened. Referrals started pouring in.
For the next three years, I worked a “normal” job by day and did readings on nights and weekends. And then in 2019, I couldn’t ignore the pull anymore. That inner voice that had never failed me whispered louder than ever: It’s time. So I did the unthinkable—I left the career I had worked so hard for and stepped fully into my path as a psychic medium and intuitive guide.
No guaranteed income. No backup plan. Just trust. And a whole lot of love for the work I felt called to do.
There were hard moments, of course. (Still are, life is never done being fun and bringing on a good challenge keeps us alive!) Doubts, discomfort, growth. But what I found on the other side of that risk was something so real—freedom, fulfillment, alignment. My work now? It’s not just a job. It’s my heart.
And today, I help others walk their own version of that path. I guide people—especially those who feel stuck in lives that look “fine” but feel heavy—back to themselves. I help them move from fear into alignment, from surviving into truly living.
Because here’s what I believe with every cell of my being: we all get that nudge. That whisper. That sacred invitation to step into something more. The real risk? It’s not in leaping. It’s in spending the rest of your life wondering what could’ve happened if you had.
So if you’re feeling that pull… this is your sign. Your knowing is not wrong. Your future self is already cheering you on.
Take the first step. Trust your soul. It knows the way home.

Marsha, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Hi, I’m Marsha—and I work at the intersection of intuition, soul alignment, and real-life transformation.
I’m an Intuitive Wellness Guide and Psychic Medium who helps people reconnect with who they really are beneath the noise, fear, and expectations of the world. My work blends intuitive strategy, energetic insight, and grounded spiritual mentorship to help people navigate life transitions, rediscover their gifts, and live in alignment with their truth.
While many people meet me now as a guide, what they don’t always know is that my path to this work wasn’t linear. I didn’t grow up thinking I’d become a psychic medium or intuitive mentor. In fact, for years, I kept that part of me quiet. I was a single mom, rebuilding my life after deep personal losses, navigating a chronic illness diagnosis, working full-time while raising babies. It was in those years—those quiet, messy, deeply human moments—that I began to hear the whispers of my own soul.
I started reading for friends on the side. Just little nudges here and there. But every time I listened, something in me lit up. It wasn’t about “becoming psychic”—it was about remembering who I was, and realizing that I could help others do the same.
Now, I offer a variety of services—from one-on-one intuitive sessions and mediumship readings to immersive VIP days, group mentorship, and custom experiences for teams and spiritual entrepreneurs. My clients range from mothers rediscovering their purpose to creatives and leaders who are ready to make aligned decisions from a deeper place of knowing.
What sets my work apart is that I don’t ask people to bypass their reality or escape into a fantasy. I meet them in the real stuff—the stress, the doubt, the overwhelm—and help them return to their own inner wisdom. I believe your soul already knows the way. I’m just here to help you clear the fog and remember your own power.
I’m most proud of the fact that I built this business while showing up for my family, healing my body, and staying rooted in authenticity. I don’t pretend to have it all figured out—but I do walk my talk. I live this work. And every session, every client, every moment of clarity shared—it all reminds me why I said yes to this path.
If you take one thing from meeting me or engaging with my work, I hope it’s this: you’re not broken, behind, or too late. You’re right on time. And the version of you that you keep dreaming about? They’re already inside you. Let’s bring them to the surface—together.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Honestly? Connection. My business has grown mostly through word of mouth—people sharing their experiences after feeling something real in our time together.
I didn’t build my reputation with marketing tricks or perfect branding. I built it by being authentic, by sharing my story, and by holding space for others to be fully themselves too. I show up as I am, and I invite others to do the same. That’s where the magic happens.
When people feel seen and safe—when they know they won’t be judged—they open up. And in that space of truth and trust, big shifts start to unfold. For me–it’s no performance. No pressure. Just presence and a whole lot of love.
And honestly? That’s what people come back for. Not just answers—but the reminder that they’re not too much, not too broken, and definitely not alone.
When you give people permission to be who they truly are—you help them remember they’ve been whole all along. That’s the kind of reputation I want to keep building.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Oh yeah. In 2018, I tried to quit my “real” job and go all in on my business. I thought I was ready—but the fear was huge. I gave it a shot, but I wasn’t bringing in enough clients to support myself, so I had to pick up another job. It felt like a setback, but looking back, it was just part of the process.
For about a year, I was working full-time, doing readings on nights and weekends, taking care of a new baby, two teenagers, adjusting to a new marriage… it was a lot. And with MS, I have to be really careful about pushing too hard. My body started giving me signs to slow down. I remember saying out loud, “God, something has to give. What do I do?”
I was sitting in my car with a coffee in hand, just done. I closed my eyes to breathe, and I heard, “Look up.”
So I did. And I was parked right in front of a spa.
Then I heard, “Go to places like this. Offer your services.”
I didn’t even overthink it—I just started doing it. I walked into salons and spas and offered to do free group readings for their teams. It actually worked—because stylists talk to everyone. That’s when things started to shift. Clients started coming. Word spread. And eventually, I had enough of a client base to quit my job—for good.
That pivot didn’t happen all at once—it happened through resistance, surrender, and divine nudges in parking lots.
Sometimes the universe doesn’t need you to leap—it just needs you to look up.
