Marquis , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Folks often look at a successful business and imagine it was an overnight success, but from what we’ve seen this is often far from the truth. We’d love to hear your scaling up story – walk us through how you grew over time – what were some of the big things you had to do to grow and what was that scaling up journey like?

I wouldn’t say it’s overnight success. I started Two Armed Protection back in 2021; it’s been a long journey marked by numerous sleepless nights, sacrifices, and hard work over the years. When I first started, I didn’t think I would succeed as quickly as I did, given that nobody knew me at the time. I had anticipated it could take months or even years however, I was wrong, and I hit the ground running. It’s one of those things where you let your work speak for itself, and somebody is bound to notice. For me, all it took was my first client to hire me for a personal detail. I did an exceptional job, and word of mouth played a huge part in my success today. I have accomplished a lot within these years come January 21st, 2026, it will be five years since I started. I would say my business is larger today than when I first started. When I first started, I had five years of experience in security but none in the EP world I only had a few celebrity clients. I took it upon myself to take the Celebrity Security EP Course I thought I knew it all until Training Day. I cannot disclose too much about the class, but it has given me a completely different perspective on EP. This is the career I want to excel in I would like to extend my gratitude to my mentors, Elijah Shaw and Mark James. I feel like i’m just getting started about time I retire from this profection the whole world going to know who I am. I love protecting people.I could also say that social media helped me achieve success by showcasing footage and photos of me in action, posted by others, highlighting my work.

I have always been a protector at heart, having kept a watchful eye on family and friends while growing up. As a result, my entry into this industry was a natural fit, and I essentially fell into it. Therefore, I figured, why not capitalize on my skills and get paid for it I specialize in providing executive protection for high end and celebrity clients. Knowing my city is a significant asset, as many of my clients are unfamiliar with local activities, hotels, restaurants, and stores. This expertise, combined with my ability to de-escalate situations, sets me apart from others in the field. My role extends far beyond simply being a physical presence I strive to provide exceptional service, ensuring that my clients do not have to lift a finger. The ultimate goal is to make my presence felt, even when I am not on site. I take immense pride in my accomplishments, including the experience gained from traveling with clients on assignments and being part of security details at festivals and arenas. I want my potential clients, followers, and fans to know that Two Armed is synonymous with professionalism, reliability, and discretion. My credentials are impeccable, and I am always available when needed. I am passport ready and passionate about providing top notch protection. My clients and I regularly check in with each other to see how we are doing, and it’s always the little things that count. Building relationships with clients, getting to know their likes and dislikes, and other important details is crucial. It’s great to know that my clients trust me with their well being. I’ve had consistently positive experiences. It’s a case of if it’s not broke, why fix it.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

If your clients are satisfied, they will refer you to other clients; that’s how you expand your clientele in this business, where the Halo Effect is highly significant.
