Hi Marque, thanks for joining us today. The first dollar your business earns is always special and we’d love to hear how your brand made its first dollar of revenue.
My brother was murdered last year and he was my first client. He had pushed me to use my dream and told me when im ready he wanted to buy the first one. Sure enough the day i did my release he was my first customer. So even with his death he’s still motivating me to not give up because he believed in me.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I got into the clothing business because I decided to do what’s best for me and live out my dreams. I provide quality clothing and even custom sets to match ANY shoe for my clients. The biggest problem I solve for my customers is shoes they don’t have things to match. I custom make clothing for them. What sets me apart is my dream and my mean for my line. PIE – PURPOSE IS EVERYTHING is just a statement by it self. I’m most proud of my progress and my motivation for growing and not giving up when it got tougher. The main things i want from my clients is the smile and satisfaction knowing that i’ve provided the best quality and clothing for my customers. I want all my customers to know that I make all my clothes when ordered and i will put everything i can into each and every fit. Im hoping to grow and have my own manufacturing wearhouse next year.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
PIE PURPOSE IS EVERYTHING was created during a time of hurt and pain dealing with a lot of pressure of life. It was always my dream, so I put it to use to build my company in 2018. During this time i had nothing left but my dream of becoming a house hold brand and being a famous fashion designer. This year I will have my first fashion show on AUG. 17. I am greatful for my journey and I feel there is nothing that can stop me. I’m resilient and i’m dedicated. The world is my playground and i’m going to have some fun.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
My most effective strategy for growing business is last year I took a tour traveling around the U.S. handing out cards and clothing. Also I used a couple of my connections to get celebrity clients. Even go my idol NFL safety Ed Reed in my clothing. The personal confrontations work better for me because, i’m very easy to get along with and im fearless. Alot of people be scared to talk to me until i smile. They say im a big scary looking guy, so i love changing peoples outlook of me. ‘
