I am Maronica Nash, founder and CEO of MK Organic Hair Care Products. MK Organic started as a solution to my ongoing hair care problem. The M is for Maronica and the K is for my son Krue. “Whats M without the K”. I use to spend a lot of money on natural hair care products so I created my own. I needed a dependable yet, child friendly product that would keep customers and myself hair full of moist and shine and also promoted hair growth. After months of mixing products MK Organic was birth. I began to introduce it to my close family and friends and the rest is unfolding, MK organic has grown and continues to grow. We are now sold in 12 different locations, across four different states and steadily growing! This has been amazing journey seeing so many customers hair grow from using MK. We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

You must stay consistent with your customers so that your business can continue to grow. I fall short sometimes because I do everything alone, but I always prevail. That’s one thing I love about me I don’t stop I always keep going. Also when building your social media presence make sure go out and network. Meet new people and stay engaged with your customers and followers.

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.

I knew once I started this business I was going to give it my all so I knew it wouldn’t be my side hustle. So I treated my regular job as my side hustle. I used it to fund my business. It felt like I had two jobs but I knew I had to do this in order for my business to grow. Im still doing the same thing to this day until God shows me different. It’s challenging but I’m definitely going with God’s flow.
