Markanthony “MAC”, appreciate you joining us today. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
I’ve taken several risk throughout my life. Whether it was leaving for the military or leaving the military to start my first business Marquis Diamond Apparel. Life is a risk whether we want to accept it or not.
The risk I’m the most proud of is leaving Corporate America in 2022 to follow my dreams of building my own business. I walked away from a 6 figure salary with all the creature comforts a man could want for an unknown path titled “entrepreneurship”. The risk has been the most rewarding, challenging, nerve wracking, stressful BUT amazing experience I’ve ever had. This risk forced me to grow well beyond my comfort zone.
Taking this risk is what led me to starting Mactastic Media, LLC. My multimedia company that produces podcasts, write movie scripts and publish books.

Im most known for my successful YouTube channel- MactasticTV which features two flagship programs (1) Cigar Chats with Mac and (2) The Purple Panties Podcast. I have also published 2 successful books Ghetto Diamond and The Purple Panties Poetry Book.
Both these shows were created once my successful Reality TV career ended (Queens Court Season 1) -NBC Peacock.

Sure my entire journey had been riddled with setbacks that most can’t phantom. Whether it was being homeless, carless, financially destitute i never quit or more importantly lost my faith in God. By the way I’ve been evicted and repossessed multiple times in my journey. So if i can keep pressing on so can you the reader!
How’d you meet your business partner?
Is met my business partner Marquis Dixon affectionately know as “Baby Bruh” back in the military in 1996. I told him i had some grand ideas to make millions of dollars when i first met him and he said that sounds like something he’d like to be apart of.
Fast forward almost 30 years and were still creating new businesses and opportunities.
