Mark Landon & Krista Angelucci, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?
HomesNash, a name that resonates with clarity and purpose, represents our dedicated real estate team within the dynamic market of Nashville, operating under the banner of Crye-Leike Realtors. The inception of our name, ‘HomesNash,’ was a thoughtful process aimed at encapsulating the nature of our business – providing real estate solutions in Nashville.
Our team’s commitment to establishing a name was guided by several key principles: the name needed to be concise, memorable, and indicative of the real estate industry. It was equally critical that we secure a name that could seamlessly translate into an online brand, with available website domains and social media handles.
Informed by a study of leading real estate professionals nationwide, we observed a trend towards minimalism in naming that yields a strong and lasting impression. ‘HomesNash’ emerged from this strategy as a distinguished and available option, to our advantage.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
Life has a way of bringing unexpected twists and turns, and for Mark and Krista, this couldn’t be true. Both found themselves relocating to Nashville for different reasons, only to form a dynamic real estate partnership. Their story begins with them growing up on different coasts but ultimately finding their way to Nashville and developing their business – HomesNash.
Krista, originally from Billerica, MA, had a deep-rooted passion for music from a young age. She gained recognition touring across New England, performing as an opening act for renowned artists, releasing her own music, and even singing the National Anthem at major sports events like those of the Boston Celtics and New England Patriots. Her music career led her to Nashville in 2013, where she continued her journey and met her husband, AJ Kross.
Mark’s story began in Bend, OR, with experiences across the country. At 20, he joined the Marine Corps, celebrating his 21st birthday at boot camp. He served as a Machine Gunner with deployments to Afghanistan and Eastern Europe, eventually leaving the military as a Sgt. Post-military life saw him venturing into the fitness and nutrition world, opening a brick and mortar store called BetterNaked Nutrition in Nashville. However, after 2020, he shifted gears to real estate.
The connection between Mark and Krista formed through AJ, Mark’s childhood best friend. Through this connection, Mark and Krista’s friendship blossomed into a business partnership, leading to the creation of HomesNash. The secret to their success lies in their complementary skills: Mark’s direct, business-focused approach pairs well with Krista’s attention to detail and patience. This blend of attributes has positioned HomesNash as a distinctive force in Nashville’s real estate landscape, demonstrating how diverse experiences can harmonize to forge a successful business alliance.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
HomesNash started by working with clients in Middle Tennessee, thanks to the trust and connections Mark and Krista had from their time in the fitness and music industries. As the business grew over the years, we noticed that a lot of our success came from people recommending us to others and from our active use of social media and marketing. Even though there are plenty of clients and homes to sell, what really made us successful is our growing reputation and the strong relationships we’ve built.
The real estate world is changing, and so are we. We still value the traditional ways of selling homes, but we also use the latest technology to market and represent HomesNash. This mix of old and new methods helps us stay ahead and connect with more people.
