Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Mark Henningham. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Mark , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
I think creative entrepreneurs and the multi-faceted need help. I say this as one myself. Throughout our careers we discover weaknesses and gaps in our skill sets and knowledge base when it pertains to marketing, budgeting, networking, self-doubt and keeping our heads above water. I made conscious evolution io in order to close these gaps. I believe creatives push innovation. So by me actively supporting creatives through digital and physical resources, I then become the catalyst of societal evolution on the highest scale. The world needs us and I stand by that.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
In 2019, I heard about digital products. Since, I was fresh out of Highschool, I payed it no mind and continued gaming and watching entrepreneurs conduct their businesses from the outside looking in. Recently, I decided to finally listen to my curiosity of writing, blogging and content creation and dive into the world of digital marketing. Packaging my products as digital “gems” that creative entrepreneurs and creative multipotentiolites can leverage. Within my store, I host a plethora of digital products such as business templates, goal trackers and ebooks that buyers can purchase for their own needs and/or resell to their own audience while keeping all the profit in the process.
As a creative multipotentiolite myself, I’ve seen myself go through the pitfalls of low career experience. No understanding of marketing, no collaborations whatsoever, dealing with self-doubt and imposter syndrome on a daily basis. I’ve been through it all yet I’ve overcame it. With this business, I desire to share my findings and learnings when maneuvering the mental landscape of humanity in order to make the process less challenging for individuals who were once in my shoes .
Something I noticed with other digital marketers in the space is that most people don’t have a designated niche or at least a unique niche. Everyone’s North Star and and goal for their audience is just to “help you make money online”…”earn an extra ‘x’ amount of dollars each month”…so on and so fourth. It’s a great solution because lacking money is one of the most powerful pain points that entrepreneur can address when marketing their products. My thing is why be like the rest? Why aren’t there any digital marketers out there who speak on affirmations & self limiting beliefs, lifestyle design, thought identification, identity shifting, etc. Topics that don’t just help someone grow internally but leading to a growth of their creative confidence and financial health.
I’m creating e-books, templates, planners and potentially physical resources soon so creatives can gain that peace of mind and carefully dissect the limiting thought patterns and beliefs that’s been plaguing them when attempting to grow their income and growth internally. Helping creative multi-potentials remember the power they possess.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
The biggest lesson I probably had to overcome was overcoming the poverty mindset. Growing up I had very little. My family still made it comfortable for me to the best of their abilities and I had a roof over my head but the lifestyle effects me later on.
From waking up some days without cable, not having an unlimited budget on Christmas, family members managing debt constantly. I still lived in lack. So as I aged I had to understand “Oh this is generational! These things I believe aren’t true at all.” Things like not being able to make $10k a month or even $1k a month for that matter. Accepting the concept of individuals making 9 figures+ because of the incredible amount of value they bring to the market. In the pass, these were my Achilles heel. I grew out of this mindset with exposure to entrepreneurs and high earners online. Social media and YouTube changed my life by expanding my worldview. Forming the belief that success is accessible to all, not just those who are “special” or “destined for it”.
How did you build your audience on social media?
I leverage a social strategy where I utilizing OPC(other-peoples-content). Essentially I ask multiple high follower count brands if they may grant me the privilege of reposting their content on my own platforms while still crediting them in the captions. Thus, I build up the following and these new followers may also visit the original video owners and both of our pages benefit.
It’s basically infinite content and all you have to do is create a unique caption talking a little bit about your product. If those who watch the content read the captions and are compelled, they might visit your link in bio and possibly convert.
Since my brand is around creativity, mindful growth and business, I tend to post content around motivation, creativity, perseverance and work ethic. With the virality potential of instagram reels, it ends up becoming a numbers game and all you have to do is post consistently through social.
