We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Mark A Jordan a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Mark A, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?

One project I’ve been working on is a film called “Thief In The Knight”. An idea I started in writing class assignment based on a back story of my two older brothers caught up in life living off a dream to make something in life. Through all we struggle through in life, keep on pushing untill you triumph in your own happiness. This film shows the changes in my real life experience mixed with losing loved ones .

Mark A, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My family is what motivated me to pursue film. As I look back 17years ago today I’m glad I took the direction to do film because it’s a way to capture the memories of people in life that are still here or gone. The service I provide to people is an outlet for the unheard to get there message out through media. We all have a story to tell that might inspire the next person to take steps to change or think about life. What sets me apart from others is that I treat everyone like family, giving them the experience of comfort when we interact . I am honored each time I speak to someone to hear there story and how it can be a positive impact in the world today which I feel we are losing ourselves to the madness.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

The most rewarding aspect to me as a creative artist in film and music is that I have the ability to reach out to others all around the world with my and others journey we faced to create. Knowledge is key today and I feel we need to hear more stories on how someone has overcome things in life , not giving up on there dream.

: Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

My goal is to create an outlet like Access Tucson (TV) so that people can have a place to come or learn about how to use there creativity to teach the next person. Life to me is about learning something new and connecting with good people to vibe with. As I continue my journey moving forward I know I will succeed.
