Today we’d like to introduce you to Marina Gee.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I had been a freelancer social media manager working with clients around the Bay Area for years. At the start of the 2020 pandemic, I lost every single one of my contracts. With the entire world shut down and a suddenly empty schedule, I started working day and night to build my agency. It started with a desire to have a steady stream of clients and serve more people. That journey has taken me further than I could have ever known.

I now have an amazing group of 8 people that I get to work with every day as we build marketing strategies and develop content for some of the coolest brands around the country. I have learned far more than I ever thought I would about what it means to build a team, how to lead and connect with people, and how to scale almost any type of business. I am so grateful for all of the ups and downs to this point and look forward to where the journey will continue to take me.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I often joke and say “It’s a good thing I didn’t know how hard it would be at the beginning, because I might not have done it.” But, of course, I am glad I did. There have been countless times I’ve needed to find solutions for team management, client acquisition, scaling pains, etc. and I think to myself “These aren’t problems that I know how to solve.” But I think that’s the exciting and scary thing about building a business. Every step asks something new out of you. The person I was that got me to this point is not going to get me to the next point. So it’s a constant journey of self-transformation.

We partner with brands around the country to elevate their online presence. We are skilled in content creation, funnel building, ad campaign management, and website builds. Our reviews rave about the results of our work but also in our communication and professionalism. We strongly believe in long term relationships and growing together with our clients, and we are most proud of the open and honest way we do our work.

How do you think about happiness?
Connection makes me the happiest. Feeling good about the relationships I’ve built with my team and my clients is the most fulfilling part of my work. I truly believe that people are the most important asset a business will ever have, and I try to cultivate that side of my business as much as possible.
