We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Mariluz Ingbrigtson a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Mariluz, appreciate you joining us today. We love heartwarming stories – do you have a heartwarming story from your career to share?
I am Mariluz Ingbrigtson, and in 2007, I am a coach and mentor specializing in transforming the lives of women, helping them live fearlessly, overcome obstacles, seize opportunities, and achieve more challenging goals. I have extensive experience assisting professional women and entrepreneurs in achieving better results through coaching processes, mentoring, programs, and training.
I became a coach because I have seen many women held back by fear, insecurity, and anxiety, leading to self-sabotage. I am a woman who has faced difficult circumstances throughout my life, including experiencing a stroke and my daughter’s suicide attempt, among many other challenges. I have experienced both personal and professional success and failure. These experiences have strengthened me, as I have learned from them and made them available to others.
Through various experiences, I began to educate myself in many aspects and delve into the intimate connection between the body, mind, and emotions.
Mariluz, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I have extensive experience helping women, professionals, and entrepreneurs. As I expanded my knowledge and education, I became involved in writing and founded “MiLife Academic” and “MiLife Coaching,” among other businesses. At “MiLife Academic,” we provide resources and educational support for women looking to advance in their careers and achieve their academic goals. At “MiLife Coaching,” I specialize in helping women overcome emotional and mental barriers to achieve their desired professional and personal success.
My deep commitment to personal transformation and understanding of the complex interactions between the body, mind, and emotions set me apart. I have faced personal challenges that have allowed me to develop a unique empathy for my clients’ struggles. I am particularly proud to see the women I work with overcome their fears and obstacles and reach levels of success that once seemed unattainable.
What I want potential clients and followers to know about me and my brand is that I am here to provide comprehensive support. Whether through educational resources, coaching sessions, or my personal experience, my goal is to help women thrive in all areas of their lives and find the confidence and inner strength to do so.
Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
I have written several books in Spanish, such as ‘Recalga Tus Emociones’ (Recharge Your Emotions), which refers to dealing with burnout, ‘El Niño Interno’ (The Inner Child), which addresses the inner child within you, ‘Autosabotaje al Autodominio’ (Self-Sabotage to Self-Mastery), ‘La Edificación del Ser’ (The Building of Being), ‘El Valor de la Gratitud’ (The Value of Gratitude), among many others.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
A lesson I learned is to unlock beliefs and the way they shaped my beliefs and values. ‘La Edificación del Ser’ (The Building of Being) is one of the experiences of my journey towards my domestication because we are all born with wonderful gifts, and as we grow, we become domesticated by family, society, norms, and values, often suppressing our true selves. This is precisely what my stroke was a testament to: the importance of self-acceptance and love.
