Marije, appreciate you joining us today. If you had a defining moment that you feel really changed the trajectory of your career, we’d love to hear the story and details.

For me the defining moment in my career as a past life regressionist was when I realized I’m really made to do this. To become a past life regressionist for me was a big step, especially because I was not a spiritual person before and had never had a spiritual job either. I worked in fashion and branding within a world that was far away from anything conscious or spiritual. My spiritual awakening was very strong, my intuition was strong, I just had to learn to trust it. It was clearly telling me to follow the past of becoming a past life regressionist, and I loved every second of studying it and doing my sessions. But it was only until I fully realized and trusted that this was truly for me, that I became a very good past life regressionist. The trust helped me to gain confidence, and the confidence allowed me to have fun and be flexible during the sessions which allowed me in turn to keep learning more and more.

Marije, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

As a full-time past life regressionist, I guide my clients to relive past lives that are connected to something that is going on in their current life. In the technique I practice I leave it over to my clients’ Higher Self to decide whatever past life should come up. This way I know my clients are both completely safe, the Higher Self will never show them anything that could be scary, blocking or intimidating. Quite the opposite the Higher Self will show a life that has an underlying message or advice in it, something that benefits my clients. Most importantly, my clients get to channel their own Higher Self and then we get to ask all their big life questions directly to their deepest voice within, that loves them more than anything. People find out what their life purpose is, why they are born at this time and place and how to make sense of the things that have happened to them.

What I love most about my job is the deep connection I feel with all my clients. I recognize myself in all of them and learn from all of them. Which in turn makes me a better regressionist because everytime I understand more, each time I can ask better questions within the regressions that will lead to more insights from the Higher Self.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?

One thing I realized is that whatever you’re meant to do in your life. Whatever job or career you’re pursuing, you’re being groomed all your life for your path. I changed my career drastically 7 years ago from working in the fashion and branding business as a graphic designer to becoming a past life regressionist. In the beginning I wasn’t sure if I was the right person for the job since my training was so vastly different prior to my spiritual training. But it turns out, that whatever journey you’ve walked before becoming what you’re now wanting to become, is exactly the right path. All my previous life experiences, which for sure included several jobs but also personal experiences, led me to become the best past life regressionist, and the same is true for your path. As long as you stay true to your intuition, your Higher Self, you’re always in the right time at the right place. Even if that place feels new and wonky.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

The best strategy is always to be yourself, be loyal to yourself, your wants and needs, but also be transparent. People want to get to know the real you, not the version of you that fits perfectly within the boxes of society. I became a past life regressionist and had no spiritual background, so I always shared that. I had a profound spiritual awakening, I always shared that. I luckily didn’t hold back the things that happened to me. Because now I know from my work, that whatever happens to you, is happening to so many others as well. By you showing yourself to the world exactly like you are, you can become a role model for others to do the same. Nobody is interested in a filtered version of you. I think my authenticity, and not worrying about how people might react to me, helped me to gain my clientele. With a result that I always have had many clients who are new to spirituality themselves, and allow me to lead them into a deeper spiritual understanding about themselves.
