María A., appreciate you joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
My mission as an independent marketing communications consultant is deeply rooted in my passion for storytelling and my belief in the power of effective communication to drive meaningful connections and create positive change. Growing up in Paraguay during the 1980s and 1990s, I witnessed firsthand the transformative impact that strategic communication can have on individuals, communities, and organizations.
For me, the mission goes beyond just providing marketing services; it’s about empowering brands to authentically connect with their audiences, share their unique stories, and make a lasting impact in the world. Every project I take on is driven by a commitment to integrity, creativity, and excellence, with the goal of helping clients achieve their objectives while staying true to their values and vision.

As an independent marketing communications consultant, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. My journey into the industry began with founding the first integrated marketing communication consulting firm in Paraguay, where I honed my skills in strategic planning, branding, and campaign management. Today, I offer a range of services including brand development, digital marketing, content creation, and public relations, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
What sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to delivering innovative solutions that drive results. I take a collaborative approach, working closely with clients to understand their goals, target audience, and market landscape. My creative flair, combined with a strategic mindset, allows me to craft compelling narratives and experiences that resonate with audiences and inspire action.
I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built with clients over the years and the impact my work has had on their businesses. From helping startups establish their brand identity to guiding established companies through rebranding efforts, each project is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
One particular moment that stands out as a testament to my resilience is when I decided to expand into the Spanish market. Despite facing cultural differences, I was determined to establish a presence and grow my business in new territories. It wasn’t easy navigating unfamiliar waters, but I embraced the challenge with determination and perseverance.
Through networking, continuous learning, and building relationships with local partners, I was able to overcome obstacles and establish a foothold in the Spanish market. This experience taught me the importance of adaptability, resilience, and the willingness to step out of my comfort zone in pursuit of growth and opportunity.
Moreover, in charting my course following a recent entry into the American market and my deliberate move to establish myself as an independent marketing consultant in Los Angeles, I recognize and anticipate a spectrum of new challenges integral to this strategic undertaking.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source of new clients for me has been through referrals and word-of-mouth recommendations. Building strong relationships with existing clients and delivering exceptional results has been instrumental in generating new business opportunities. Additionally, networking events, industry conferences, and online platforms have also played a significant role in connecting me with potential clients and expanding my professional network.
