We were lucky to catch up with Marcus Palmer recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Marcus thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s jump back to the first dollar you earned as a creative? What can you share with us about how it happened?

The first dollar I ever made was on a short film that I was a part of called wasted time shortly after then booked a movie called LA undercover, which is my first movie I was a part of and it all happened through friends, word-of-mouth, getting me the opportunity and creating relationships and bonds, which is very vital to all upcoming actors, but the experience was great. Had loads of fun creating, which is what this is all about I played a kidnapper in an intense parking lot scene It was amazing and🎬 I can’t wait to experience more and more over these years

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Marcus Palmer born and raised in California traveled and moved all over the place throughout California in my younger years Didn’t really get a chance to get in the industry as a child, but knew that this is where my passions were eventually tragic events happened in my life creating and forcing me to live out my dream my discipline stem from in which I am passionate about I am definitely a disciplined person whether it be fitness or sticking to something that is something I have deep in my core. And would set me apart from other people is my burning desire, and passion in this industry along with never giving up because of my hard-working mindset My Instagram is @MarcusaPalmer. Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

I had to pivot several times in my life first starting off as a car salesman, then moving into physical labor and then transitioning into what I am today which is an actor. It was a long journey, but tragic things happened, causing me and forcing me into the best thing possible. And I am grateful for those situations and to know that everything happens for a reason.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

In my opinion, I believe that we can create a creative ecosystem just by speaking to every single person that passes by if we talk to one another and create bones with one another, we can create a ecosystem that is flourishing, beautiful, and not afraid to fail
