We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Marcus Evans. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Marcus below.
Marcus, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
I want to build a legacy that reflects my deep commitment to inspiring and empowering others through my ministry, photography, and videography. I hope to be remembered as someone who captured not just images, but the essence of people’s stories, while also guiding others to spiritual growth and self-discovery through my preaching.
After I’m gone, I want people to say that I used every gift I had—whether behind the camera or behind the pulpit—to bring out the best in others and leave a lasting impact. I hope to be remembered for living with purpose, embracing creativity, and encouraging others to pursue their own passions with faith and determination.

Marcus, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Marcus T Evans, and I’ve had the privilege of combining my passion for ministry, photography, and videography into a purpose-driven career. I got started in photography about four years ago, initially as a form of healing after a motorcycle accident that led to a year and a half of rehab. Inspired by the work of Cam Kirk, I found peace and purpose behind the lens, which led me to launch my business, M T Evans Photography.
I specialize in capturing meaningful moments through event photography and videography, helping clients preserve their most important memories. My services range from professional event coverage to creative video production, always with an eye for storytelling. Through my photography, I aim to showcase the beauty of life’s moments, while my videography brings those moments to life in a dynamic, visual format.
In addition to my creative services, my ministry plays a pivotal role in who I am. I preach, teach, and provide spiritual guidance, and I see my ministry as deeply connected to my photography and videography. Whether it’s capturing a moment in time or delivering a message from the pulpit, my goal is to inspire and uplift others.
What sets me apart is the fusion of creativity and purpose. Every image I capture and every video I produce is rooted in a desire to tell a story that matters. My ministry gives me the ability to connect with people on a deeper level, which translates into how I approach my work—both in business and in faith.
I’m most proud of the impact I’ve made in helping others see the beauty in their own lives, whether it’s through a photograph, a sermon, or a video. I want potential clients and followers to know that when they work with me, they are not just getting a photographer or videographer—they are getting someone who sees the value in every moment and strives to bring that to life in a meaningful way.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I believe my reputation has been built on a foundation of consistency, authenticity, and a genuine passion for both my craft and the people I serve. In photography and videography, the quality of your work speaks for itself, but I’ve also made it a priority to go beyond just delivering beautiful images or videos. I take the time to understand my clients’ needs, their stories, and their vision, ensuring that each project feels personal and meaningful.
My background in ministry has also been a key factor in shaping my reputation. It has taught me the importance of connection, trust, and service. Whether I’m preaching or photographing an event, people know I approach everything with integrity and care. I think clients appreciate the balance of professionalism and warmth that I bring, knowing that I am committed to not just meeting their expectations but exceeding them.
By consistently delivering high-quality work, staying true to my values, and always seeking ways to improve and innovate, I’ve been able to build a strong reputation that I’m proud of. That reputation is grounded in trust, creativity, and a passion for making a lasting impact through my ministry, photography, and videography.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Yes, my creative journey is deeply driven by a mission to inspire, uplift, and connect with others through both my art and my ministry. Whether it’s through photography, videography, or preaching, my goal is to tell stories that matter—stories that capture the essence of who people are, the beauty of their experiences, and the faith that guides them.
Through my ministry, I seek to spread messages of hope, purpose, and spiritual growth, and I view my photography and videography as extensions of that same mission. Each image or video I create serves as a testament to the power of storytelling and the way it can impact lives. I want my work to remind people of their value, their potential, and the beauty in both the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life.
Ultimately, my goal is to leave a legacy of creativity that not only entertains but also inspires transformation in those who experience it. Whether through capturing a special event or delivering a message from the pulpit, my mission is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
