Hi Marcia, thanks for joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?

I think I always knew I wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path since I was younger . The biggest issue was hmmm how do I even get started . How do I get my feet wet trying to pursue this . I think my breakthrough was when I did a Photoshoot for my birthday and I guess you can say I’ve been hooked every since

Marcia, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Hey hey hey guys my name professional name is Marcia Polite . I was born and raised in New Jersey but have been living in Atlanta since 2016 trying to pursue my dreams . I’m a model slash influencer . I’m mainly a freelance model even though I would love to get signed so I can land some major deals .( fingers crossed ) My modeling includes photo shoots, runway, promo, videos and hosting jobs . I think what sets me apart from everyone else is that I’m honestly just myself . Im not trying to compete with anyone I’m just Marcia . I want people to be able to relate to me and feel confident enough to pursue their dreams too. The thing that I’m most proud of is that even though I’m not where I want to be I’m proud of myself for taking a leap of faith and trying . I feel as though that so many people have a dream but there to scared to pursue it because of the what ifs . What I want my followers to know is that I’m really a down to earth person and I’m just a lover of all things .

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

I feel like society can best support artist is just being more supportive . It cost nothing to share a artist work or just spreading the word of what that particular artist has going on .

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

My particular goal or mission is just to keep striving . My goal is to be a household name because I know I can do this . I have a personality that I feel as though people can truly connect with . And wether my dreams become a reality I still want people to be inspired that I never gave up on my dreams .
