At Doctor Aromas, our mission is deeply personal to me. I’ve always been driven by a passion for crafting immersive environments that not only enhance well-being and create lasting memories but also lead in scent innovation. But beyond that, I’ve been deeply committed to prioritizing our planet’s health, including the protection of the ozone layer, through eco-friendly practices that balance sensory experiences with environmental responsibility.

One of the driving forces behind our mission was my desire to create a complete aerosol air freshener without all the harmful components. And we did it. I’m proud to say that we’ve developed the first aerosol that doesn’t harm the environment. The aroma lingers in the air, transforming houses into havens of delightful scents. This innovation is so unique that I had the chance to patent this new technology, solidifying our commitment to sustainability and innovation in the fragrance industry.

My journey into the fragrance industry began in 1993 in Tucuman, Argentina, during a time of economic turmoil. I seized an opportunity to aromatize public restrooms, which laid the foundation for what would become Doctor Aromas. With a background as a Jewish Community Director, I’ve always been drawn to creating joy and happiness for others, and scent seemed like the perfect medium for that.

As the business grew, so did my passion for scent innovation. A pivotal moment came when I encountered a challenge at a Carrefour Supermarket chain in Buenos Aires. The AC units were spreading unpleasant odors from a nearby river throughout the store. This dilemma sparked my first Eureka moment – why not utilize the same units responsible for the issue to diffuse pleasant aromas instead? Thus, the concept of the Doctor Aromas AC aroma machine was born.

What sets us apart at Doctor Aromas is our commitment to crafting immersive environments that enhance well-being, create lasting memories, and lead in scent innovation. We provide a range of products and services, including our signature AC aroma machines, home fragrance solutions, and custom scent experiences for commercial spaces. Certainly. One story that epitomizes the resilience I’ve cultivated throughout my journey with Doctor Aromas is from the early days of rebuilding the business in the United States.

After arriving in the US with just $650 to my name, I faced numerous challenges and setbacks. One of the most difficult periods was when I found myself working as a dishwasher in South Beach, Miami, to make ends meet. Despite the hard work and long hours, I remained determined to resurrect Doctor Aromas and bring it back to life.

During this time, I encountered countless obstacles, from financial struggles to navigating a new country and culture. There were moments when it felt like the odds were stacked against me, and the dream of rebuilding the business seemed out of reach.

But in the face of adversity, I refused to give up. I drew upon my resilience and determination, knowing that every setback was an opportunity to learn and grow stronger. I remained focused on my vision, pouring my heart and soul into every aspect of the business.

Slowly but surely, my perseverance began to pay off. With sheer determination and relentless effort, I was able to turn the tide and rebuild Doctor Aromas from the ground up. Today, we not only have our own production plant but also over 36 employees who share in our vision and passion for creating immersive scent experiences.

This story serves as a reminder that resilience isn’t just about bouncing back from failure; it’s about facing adversity head-on, refusing to be defeated, and persevering in pursuit of your goals. It’s a testament to the power of resilience and the belief that with unwavering determination, anything is possible.
