We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Marc Logan. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Marc below.
Marc, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
Long story short, everything. I can’t thank my parents enough for who I am today. I wouldn’t be the overly optimistic, ambitious creator I am today without them pushing me to always just be myself. With my mother being an artist of many forms, not only could she have an idea brought to life in the span of a day, she also saw the light in me and never diminished it. She would always be there for support no matter how out there the idea was. She would also lend a helping hand when needed. As for my dad, I’m not the hard worker I am without him. Seeing the work he’d do for my family and I showed me what it means to really work for what you want. That it takes everything you got and there is no half stepping when it comes to achieving anything in this world. I couldn’t ask for a better duo to teach me the lessons they did and I am forever grateful for who I am today, thanks to them.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am a multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, video producer, filmographer, film photographer, and clothing designer. All of this falls under the Cosomic Hippie umbrella. Last year I released my first album to the world and since then, I’ve been hard at work to expand and build upon that moment. Right now I’m wrapping up an EP that should be out by the end of the summer, a clothing line that is set to release at the beginning of July, a website that houses all of my creative endeavors, a set of music videos to compliment my new music, and so much more that I can’t wait to share with the world. It’s been fun doing the whole one man operation thing, but throughout this year I’ve already started building a team and finding people enhance my vision to make it better for those who are into what I do. With everything coming, it’s still only the beginning, and I’m overwhelmed with joy knowing how much further I’ll continue to progress in the future!

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My number one goal with everything that I do, is to show people that it’s okay to be themselves. It’s okay not to “fit in. That you can do whatever you set your mind to. Growing up in the modern age, it’s easy to get lost in what life is “supposed to be”. What success is “supposed” to look like. I live my life knowing that I set the rules. I determine what I want in life. And I know that if I stay determined and give everything I have, the only outcome is success. I just want those that like what I do to have that confidence in themselves to do the same thing.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
Being an artist in itself is the most rewarding aspect of my life. Knowing that I can have an idea grow into its own thing in the world, is a feeling I can’t really compare to anything. Seeing that people relate or like what I make is just the cherry on top.
