We recently connected with Manuel Gonzalez III and have shared our conversation below.
Manuel, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
One day, I joined this master class to learn how to sell high ticket items, but I didn’t know what niche I wanted to be in. That same day I began to have a conversation with Chat GPT. I asked it questions like: What are the top 3 niches for high ticket items with high demand and high profitability? It replied in seconds. Then I asked: What are the top 5 products in this niche that sell for more than $3,000 and have a high demand. from that moment I knew what the niche for my store would be. I chose the Home Wellness and Recovery niche because it has the Highest demand and profitability for high ticket items.
Then I began to narrow down my store name and came up with the name Auravelle. I was sold on the meaning of the word. It is a name that evokes elegance, wellness, and transformation. It’s a fusion of two core ideas:
“Aura”- representing energy, atmosphere, and holistic well-being. It suggest an invisible force of health, luxury, and personal renewal that surrounds everything my brand touches
“Velle”- derived from French/Latin roots like velleite, meaning “a wish” or “a gentle desire.” In this context, it suggest intention, aspiration, and the pursuit of a better self.
Together, Auravelle symbolizes the Luxurious pursuit of wellness- a brand devoted to redefining health, beauty, and recovery through high-end products that elevate everyday living. It’s soft, aspirational, and powerful all at once.
Once i established that foundation I began to reach out to suppliers. My store currently promotes cold plunges, hyperbaric chambers, saunas, sleep pods, and water ionizers. At this moment, I am beginning my advertising campaign so things are looking bright for the next few years.
It has been lots of work over the past few months but that is what I am willing to contribute to get my business of the ground.

Manuel, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am a 47 year old Union Pipefitter. I decided to start a business because i am slowly coming up to being retired and I figured I needed to start something while I was still working that would carry into retirement and would keep me busy. I got into the Home Wellness and Recovery after doing some research to find what was profitable and in high demand. The niche I entered was focused toward the individual who is health conscience and into home recovery.
What I am most proud of is that Auravelle doesn’t just follow trends- we challenge the status quo of wellness. In a industry flooded with gimmicks and generic products, we’ve carved a space that’s rooted in authenticity, education, and elevated living. We’ve built something that feels intentional- where every product, policy, and partnership aligns with a clear vision: to help people reclaim their energy, restore their space, and renew their wellbeing.
I’m proud that we’ve taken a thoughtful, boutique-style approach to high-ticket e-commerce- proving that you don’t need to sacrifice trust or integrity to run a scalable business. And I’m especially proud of how we’ve designed Auravelle to feel- clean, calming, confident. That vibe is what people remember.
What I want potential customers to know is:
-Auravelle is here for your long-term wellness, not quick fixes. We offer tools that help you build a lifestyle of recovery and resilience.
-We personally vet everything- from saunas and water ionizers to hyperbaric chambers and cold plunges. If we wouldn’t use it ourselves or in our own space, we don’t sell it.
-This isn’t just a store- it’s a space to be seen. Whether you’re shopping or just exploring, our goal is to meet you with warmth, transparency, and clarity.
-We’re building something bigger than just a product. We envision expanding into physical wellness centers and long-term brand partnerships that transform how people access luxury wellness.
Auravelle is where beauty meets function, and where wellness finally feels luxurious- because you deserve both.

We’d love to hear your thoughts about selling platforms like Amazon/Etsy vs selling on your own site.
I do sell products on both of my online stores. On auravellehq.com, the pro would be that I have a higher potential to make a higher margin. The con would be that I’d have to contact the supplier to make sure the items were in stock to finalize the sale.
On aurah2o.mytyent.com it is a little less work. A customer can go to the website and make a purchase and the supplier would handle all the customer service. The pro would be that the Tyent store is a less hands on and I dont see a con for this storefront.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
Yes. There is a master class program that I am a part of. It is a world wide community that has educational videos, community chat rooms, and an application that has the ability for you to find new suppliers and distributors. Also, the program that i am involved with also comes with a one on one coach to help guide me.
