Hi Manivanh, thanks for joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
The idea for my online boutique was born from both passion and purpose. I’ve always had a love for fashion and a desire to make luxurious, medium to high-quality items accessible without the high-end price tag. I noticed a gap—many people, like myself, wanted to look and feel confident in quality pieces without overspending. I created my boutique to solve that problem. But more than just business, this brand holds deep personal meaning. I named the boutique in memory of my daughter, Royalti, to honor her beautiful spirit and keep her legacy alive. That gave this journey even more heart. I knew this was a worthwhile endeavor because it blended my entrepreneurial vision with something deeply emotional. It wasn’t just about selling clothes—it was about creating a brand that stands for value, beauty, and meaning.

My name is Manivanh Samuel, and I’m the founder of Royalti Luxe, an online shop created to offer luxurious, medium to high-quality fashion, and accessories at affordable prices. I entered the industry out of both passion and purpose wanting to make quality fashion more accessible while honoring the memory of my daughter, Royalti, whose name the brand proudly carries. I provide carefully curated pieces that help everyone feel confident, stylish, and empowered without breaking the bank. What sets me apart is the heart behind the brand every item is chosen with intention, combining elegance with affordability. I’m most proud of building a brand that not only reflects my love for fashion but also carries deep meaning. I want potential clients to know that Royalti Luxe is more than just a store—it’s a symbol of beauty, strength, and legacy.
Can you talk to us about how you funded your business?
To bring my vision for Royalti Luxe to life, I used funds from my tax preparation business to provide the initial capital. I believed in the potential of the boutique and was confident that reinvesting into my own dream was the right move. By leveraging the success and stability of my tax business, I was able to start Royalti Luxe without outside investors or loans. It was a personal and strategic decision that allowed me to maintain full control and grow the brand with purpose and passion.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best sources of new clients for me have been a combination of referrals, pop-up shops, Instagram, and simply getting out into the community and passing out business cards. Word of mouth has been incredibly powerful—happy customers love to share their experience, which builds trust with new clients. Pop-up shops give me a chance to connect face-to-face and showcase the quality of my products, while Instagram helps me reach a wider audience and keep followers engaged with fresh content. Every interaction, online or in person, helps grow the brand.
