Manijeh , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about a time you helped a customer really get an amazing result through their work with you.

In 2023, I was vending at a hospital in the Bronx. One of the customers was a psychologist and she came to my table looking to see which crystal and piece of jewelry she would connect with to purchase. Because I am a medium, I offered to channel for her to see which crystal she needed at that time. She welcomed the channeling and told me her name. Right away, I shared with her that Malachite was a crystal that she needed. I showed her a Malachite necklace that I’d recently made and she loved it immediately!

Fast-forward one week, I was at the same hospital vending. The psychologist came back to me and told me she was waiting to see me again because she had to tell me what happened. She said that after she purchased the necklace, she began to feel a pain in her back that evening. Within a few days of the continued discomfort, she went to the doctor to find out the cause. After her visit, she learned that there was an issue with her gallbladder. She was able to make the proper changes and get the treatment needed to heal her body.

Now back to Malachite. Malachite is known as a traveler stone and a master healer. Its energy travels through the body and brings dis-ease to the surface so that it can be healed–this can happen spiritually and physically. Even more, Malachite is associated with the gallbladder. The customer was so thankful for this gemstone! By purchasing and wearing the Malachite necklace just a week prior, it fulfilled its purpose of alerting her to an ailment that needed to be healed.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Manijeh and I am an artisan, author, educator, and medium. My journey with crystal healing officially started in 2019, when I engaged in a crystal reiki healing session. The experience completely changed the trajectory of my life and I began using crystals to heal my mind, body, and spirit. With the intention to walk with others on their journey of spiritual enlightenment, I created alignedwire–a copper and crystal healing jewelry business, on December 31, 2020.

Each piece in the collection is designed to balance and activate the chakra system while raising the vibration of the wearer. Since starting the business, I have met a variety of people who range between being very unfamiliar with crystal healing to those with a deep knowledge of the power of crystals. alignedwire allows me to engage in conversations about crystal healing with people at various stages of their spiritual journeys. Further, my business is more than my products–I engage in vulnerable and open conversations with my customers and clients with a goal to support them in processing their own energies and experiences. From there, I can suggest crystals and holistic practices to that may assist on their healing journeys. During events, I am able to have these conversations and make customized pieces for customers in that exact moment. Having the ability to customize crystal healing fosters a deeper connection between the customer and the crystal(s) that they choose. Additionally, it establishes a rapport between myself and wonderful customers who trust in my spiritual and creative process!

In addition to creating jewelry, I have also authored and self-published a crystal healing children’s book series entitled, Healing Heroes. Healing Heroes is a children’s book series that promotes positive self-beliefs through crystal healing and daily affirmations. Each book highlights one crystal and based on the properties of that crystal, children are provided with familiar scenarios and affirmations that complement the crystal property. For example, in Healing Heroes: Rose Quartz, one of the affirmations is “I accept myself. I love who I am. I love who I will be. I love me.” I created Healing Heroes to share words of affirmation with children in classrooms and communities across the world. With this series, I hope to support children in being confident in their ability to bring themselves back to inner peace and to reduce the impact of negative emotions and trauma in their lives.

With alignedwire and Healing Heroes, I aim to raise spiritual health awareness and remind others of their inner light.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

There are two main ways that I build my audience on social media. Every time I am vending at an event, I encourage people to follow me on Instagram. This feels like a low-commitment request, so even if a customer is not interested in purchasing a piece from me at that time, they are open to a connection on a social media. Also, at events, people are eager to record my table to post on their social media accounts–that has been very helpful in exposing alignedwire to other networks. The second way that I build my audience is when I create online giveaways. One of the requirements for entry is to tag between 5-10 accounts in the comments. Again, this serves as a another way to expose my brand to the followers of my followers.

This year, I will be diving more into posting reels consistently and hosting IG Live sessions. I would like to connect with a wider audience in a deeper way, so this is how I am intending to use social media moving forward. With that being said, I still have a lot to learn about social media engagement and building my audience. My humble advice is to be confident in asking people to follow you on social media and asking them to tag and repost your products. Also, post content that encourages viewer engagement!

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

The main thing that helped me build my reputation within the world of crystal healing products is my mindset. I see my business as my purpose and that translates through my interactions with other entrepreneurs and customers. Of course, alignedwire is a business and revenue matters; however, I place more emphasis on the connections that I form centered around vulnerability and healing. I truly care about the stories that are shared with me. I am invested in holding space for customers, listening to their needs, clarifying any misconceptions, and providing them with the best experience possible while we are in each other’s presence. Many of these conversations do lead to customers making purchases that resonate with their healing journeys and sometimes, it remains simply a conversation that needed to occur. Both outcomes are okay. It’s important to me that customers leave our interaction with a new perspective on healing and a deeper connection with their ability to make changes in their lives on an energetic level.
