We were lucky to catch up with Mandy Wilde recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Mandy thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Was there an experience or lesson you learned at a previous job that’s benefited your career afterwards?
One of the most important lessons I’ve ever learned at a prior job was to save some of myself for ME. Of course knowing that now while working for myself has its own mixed bag of lessons but I try set aside at least one day where I don’t take clients. This is my personal boundary and I promised myself I’d honor it early on to establish healthy patterns moving forward.

Mandy , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Absolutely! I am a certified Psychic Medium and Astrologer. I also consult and educate on the radical rituals of deity divination. It is through Mediumship, that I’m able to help those who are seeking connection, comfort, hope and peace from their passed loved ones as well as connect them to their spiritual team which can positively influence the way they navigate their own spiritual and life paths moving forward. I’m most proud of the workshops and classes I offer as it allows for me to connect with even more seekers!

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I feel as though I’m still pretty new at building my socials but I will say consistency has been key for me!

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
A lesson I’ve had to unlearn multiple times would be that my title is not my identity. Prior to working as a Medium I was in the restaurant industry. I worked very hard to become a Sommelier and years later, a Wine Director. I ran large wine programs throughout the US and was married to my job. My title was something I wore as badge of honor and at times, would get lost in it.
I worked extremely long hours and gave everything I had to my work. I felt my body start to crumble but continued because I couldn’t fathom separating from my title! When I finally left my career, (by the way, it took two times before it actually stuck!) I mourned the change more than I thought I would, even though I knew it was for the best.
It was through very deep soul work and starting my own business, that I have finally been able to separate the title from myself.
