We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Mandy Lile. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Mandy below.
Alright, Mandy thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?
“Giving back is what I am all about. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the amazing community in which I came from. At Potency No. 710 I am always gifting and giving back to my customers and to the community I live in and the one I came from. Whether it is exclusive offers on products, awesome sexy swag, free products/samples, or simply a feather packaged with good intentions, I like to make all of my customers feel appreciated and loved, because they are! I also love to always include handwritten notes in packages, many of which are hand packaged by yours truly. Just recently, with the launch of my latest product, Higher Good, I had applicator spoons handcrafted by a spoon maker in Mississippi from the fallen trees that occurred due to the devastating tornadoes that swept through my hometown in Kentucky late last year. This brought national attention to the community and also allowed me to gift a special part of my story to those that support my passion and brand.”
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
“I am a small town Kentucky girl, and I believe that kindness is the greatest superpower in the world. Growing up with firsthand awareness regarding the stigma of cannabis I was inspired to show everyone the truth regarding cannabis and chose to do so through the beauty side of this hempsational plant. After opening my first skincare clinic at the age of 20, I quickly developed a knack for plant-based, clean, and ingredient conscious products. I founded Potency No. 710 after moving to LA and combining my superpowers and aesthetician experience with the cannabis knowledge of my Fiancé.
Potency No. 710 has been disrupting the beauty and skincare scene since offering plant-based, effective, cannabinoid-rich skincare and selfcare products. Potency isn’t just a brand, to those in the community that I have built, it is an experience and a lifestyle. Everything within the brand from the product formulations to the marketing, to the packaging is done with the highest of intentions. I hope this is something that is felt by everyone that utilizes the products that I have put my heart and soul into crafting.
In today’s society we are mass marketed poison everywhere we look. From the food we eat and the medicine we take, to the products we use to care for our bodies and the very clothes we wear, there are ingredients and components that can cause harm. It doesn’t have to be this way. This is why at Potency we offer products made from the earth that are packed with clean, effective, proven ingredients.”
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
“My Kentucky hometown community, hands down. They have been my greatest supporters since day one. When I opened my first skincare clinic in my 20s, I started to care for the skin of many individuals within our small tight-knit community. When I made the decision to head to LA and the dream of Potency came to be, they were behind me 100%. They have helped inspire me, motivate me, and have helped Potency to see the success it has today. I truly believe that their support combined with my aesthetician knowledge and dedication to destigmatize cannabis are what have allowed Potency No. 710 to become a household name in homes across the country.”
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
“I absolutely love to engage with my clients and followers. From frequent newsletters packed with brand info, cannabis education, product promos, giveaways, ingredient info, and more to daily interaction on social media, I make it a point to stay involved with the Potency No. 710 community. I love being a face for the brand and am always inquiring to see what my clients love, what they want to see next, and it always makes my day to receive their reviews and feedback regarding the products we offer. I am also always sharing new information via our blog as well which includes skincare focused articles, an entire Plant Power Series dedicated to the truths surrounding cannabis and all it has to offer, ingredient blogs taking an in depth look into some of the ingredients within Potency products, and much more.”
