We were lucky to catch up with Mandisa Wynn recently and have shared our conversation below.

Mandisa, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

It all started with a vision to make a way for myself and others who can relate to my story. As a single mother of four children who had personally experienced growing up in poverty, I knew that embarking on this entrepreneurial journey wouldn’t be easy. However, my deep belief in the idea and determination to create a better future for my family and our community propelled me forward. The early days were filled with challenges, from learning and perfecting my craft to securing funding to balancing the demands of entrepreneurship and parenting. I am also a nurse, and I had to work to keep afloat while starting a new business. Throughout this journey, the values of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of community support became the cornerstones of NuLevel Enterprises. My story became an inspiration not only to my children but to our entire community. It was a story of going from poverty to entrepreneurship, a symbol of hope and possibility. As the years passed, we achieved significant milestones, such as getting our clients new homes and cars and funding to help them start their businesses. These successes were made possible by our team’s dedication, our customers’ loyalty, and my commitment to my family, my community, and my vision. Today, NuLevel Enterprises stands as a testament to my journey.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

I knew I was different, that’s for sure. I would describe myself as a black sheep. I wasn’t close with much of my family. My granny raised me, and I have always thought differently. I was competitive, always thinking of easier ways to get around something- loopholes. If I didn’t know one, then I’d create one.
